I’ve used these in my workplace before and decided to purchase them for our HOA meetings. What I liked is Avery software setup is great. Use of their templates and styles helps complete the package. Then just save as a PDF and download to your computer.

These Avery Name Badges are easy to set up and work well for events, conferences, and professional gatherings. The pre-perforated design makes it easy to separate the badges cleanly without tearing or rough edges. Another great feature is that the badge holders can be reused, making them an economical and sustainable choice for events, especially those that occur regularly. Since the inserts are sold separately, you can continue using the same holders, reducing waste and costs over time. The clips are also adorable and can hold up. I would also say the size of the name badge is reasonable to show that you’re able to read the tag as well as not too big to be distracting. However, I consistently have issues with the template alignment when printing. The text and images tend to print too high or off-center, making it difficult to get a perfectly aligned badge. As a workaround, I’ve learned to center my logo, text, and design within the badge area to ensure that nothing gets cut off. I’m not sure if this is a user error or a template issue, but it does take some trial and error to get it right. That being said, these name badges hold up well, look professional, and are a great reusable option. If you’re using Avery’s templates, I’d recommend testing on plain paper first to adjust the alignment before printing on the actual inserts. Overall, a good choice for event organizers, just be prepared to tweak the printing setup!
