I recently bought Mega Allicin after remembering what a immunologist friend told me about her experiences in the lab using garlic against several types of tough bacteria. So, when an old foe, a bacterial sinus infection, started its usual inflammatory dance, I bought this product after searching google over for the cheapest option. This stuff kicked my sinus infection in a matter of days. I took the whole bottle within a week, treating it like a Z-pack. With the very large doses, six pills at once, I could feel the difference in a matter of say, four to six hours. My symptoms diminished significantly. After that, I bought a 90-pill-count bottle and take one pill a day to ward off any other infections. Research says that it is also antiviral, but I haven't used it for any other infections yet. I would assume it takes longer to kick than a bacterial infection, but I'm no doctor and, thus, can only speculate. I was impressed though, and since the sinus infection was gone in record time, I'd say it's far better than a placebo. This is so much cheaper than an antibiotic and far better on the immune system. I will be buying this product in the future, as long as the price doesn't skyrocket, that is. * I purchased this product at full price and was not party to any review exchange scheme. Currently using it to get rid of a nasty sinusitis. After reading about taking 6 at once, I tried that which isn’t difficult. The pills are so small which is great! I always have trouble swallowing bigger pills. Coupling it with oil of oregano softgels so, i should smell wonderful for days. Lol! I’ll update if it knocks this out in a few days. Small taste of garlic but not strong at all. Doesn’t make me feel sick. Holistic, natural remedies are much better, not really cheaper if one is on Medicaid but..much better than days of migraines. True story, had them almost every single day of taking antibiotics last month. Pained me so much I stopped on the 6th day. Got better on its own only to get sick 2 weeks later. Darn winter!

This product was just "meh" for me. I get a better reaction from eating raw, crushed garlic itself (clear sinuses, blood flow improvements, clear mind, energy.) I cannot verify that this (pretty expensive) product really did anything more than a simple crushed clove of garlic.

I usually have a cold from November - March, this year started out the same way. Dr visits twice in Nov and once in Dec, the pills from Dr do work but when I run out I have the cold back again within a week. started looking for solutions and I found it in Mega Allicin. started with garlic supplement from dollar store and read it did not contain much Allicin witch is the main thing your body needs to fight off many infections. I take 1 Allicin + 2 garlic pills once a day, within a week I felt better and 2 week my cold, nasal infection and cough was gone. It's been about 6 weeks and I feel great. The only thing a wish is that I would have found Allicin 10 years ago, its funny that things over a long period of time just become a fact of life. I thought I would spend the rest of my life sick from Nov - March but not with Allicin. I know it's only been 6 week but when your sick within a week after Dr prescriptions you feel pretty good about what your taking, Allicin 180mgs + 1000mgs garlic pills. [ odorless]

Let me start by saying I have always taken allicin for the longest time. I pretty much stayed with the maintenance dose for my condition. I decided recently to go in hard and up my dose. Since then i have been seeing very good results. Theses do pack a punch and there is a slight smell to them but it lets you know you are getting something straight up. I only wish the mega allicin would make a higher dose like the allimed brand thats on here. It does cost money for these but getting rid of long term pain and discomfort shouldn't have a price.
