ProKeeper 1 Quart Airtight Powdered Sugar Storage Container – Grey, BPA-Free Plastic

I've now bought 4 of the ProKeeper 1.5 Coffee Storage Containers with Scoop. We make only a small pot of coffee each day, but prefer a ground coffee brand available in 3 lb. cans for its higher quality, ease of use, and low packaging. These ProKeeper containers are sturdy medium-thick plastic; they close tightly, and are easy to handle; and a 3 lb. can can be neatly divided into two of them. Although some think this is a bad idea, I then store the coffee containers in the freezer and use as needed--and I find very little decline in quality over the time it takes to finish them, no more than would be true of the 10-11 oz. bags I would otherwise use. I've decided to buy my decaf in the same brand/size, so now will store the decaf in the two new containers, which can be easily marked. My only "downside" is the scoop included with each, which I don't need or use--but for those who prefer, these scoops fit inside the lid so they are always at hand. Good value, high quality, attractive containers for coffee or any other product you need to keep sealed from the air.

I’m really impressed with the ProKeeper 1.4-Quart Airtight Storage Container! The grey BPA-free plastic feels durable and high-quality, and the airtight seal works perfectly to keep my snacks and ingredients fresh for days. The size is just right—not too big, not too small—for storing everything from nuts to leftovers. Plus, the container is easy to clean and fits well in my pantry and fridge. These are highly recommended. I love them. They work so well. Best thing invented. This brand is strong and nice for freshness. Holds alot of spice. They do not stack. But it’s ok I put them in my spice drawer. Easy to use.

I now own six of these storage units. I purchase my coffee from an online vendor out of Canton, GA. In my opinion, they do sell the greatest coffee beans or ground coffee in the US rated by selection. I had been using another type of container but where these have a silicon seal the others I have used in the past do not. The silicon seal is the best thing about these containers. It may not provide a hermitical seal, but it well keeps out extra oxygen from getting in when not in use which can only degrade the coffee’s goodness. These are a clear gray color with just enough gray to keep out harmful rays of the sun. And last but not least, when opening the cover, each storage container contains a one-tablespoon scoop to be used to measure the coffee when placing the grounds into your coffeemaker in preparation of making a great cup of coffee. Remember, that to make a great cup of coffee, you need to have fresh, cold water, fresh ground coffee which has been contained in a great storage container that seals out harmful sun rays, and a truly good coffeemaker like the Moccamaster. Add to that, you need to use two tablespoons of a great coffee for each six (6) ounces of water. More than this will make it too strong; less will make the coffee too weak. Personally, if I add MORE than two tablespoons of coffee for every six (6) ounces of water that will be fine because I like a good cup of strong coffee, especially for the first cup in in the morning. But less coffee or more water will be too weak—asking for a TRULY BAD CUP OF COFFEE. Whether you purchase your coffee locally or online, if you are a true coffee lover, don’t purchase just one kind of coffee. Buy several types—one or two from Africa, one or two from India, and the same from Southeast Asia. Although I don’t care for coffee from Mexico or Central America, do try a couple from this region. That said, DO BUY THOSE FROM HAWAII AND JAMAICA. Most will say that the Kona or Kona blends as well as the Jamaica Blue and Jamaica Blends are two of the finest that can be purchased. But at $60 to $70 per pound for the non-blends of these two coffees, many of you may find it a little too expensive. I do; however, I will purchase one of each per year around the holidays as a Christmas present for myself; or I ask my wife to do the same as a present if I have been a good ‘boy’ throughout the year. The bottom line is to not buy just one coffee from a true vendor of coffee such as coffeeAM or other similar, buy several coffees from different parts of the world for a variety. Drinking the same coffee every day would be the same as eating the same entrée every night for supper. At the time of writing this review, I have eight different types of coffee I am enjoying and rotate with every cup I drink throughout the day. I drink about 5-6 10-oz. cups every day. With the Moccamaster coffeemaker, fresh coffee from CoffeeAM.com and containers like these to keep the coffee stored with as little oxygen possible to penetrate the container due to the silicone seal, you will find a huge difference in what you believed you had in coffee drinking experience but with these Progressive International ProKeeper Containers you will find now that you DO HAVE A GREAT COFFEE EXPERIENCE. Use them to store the coffee beans; however, if you don’t own a ‘Conical Burr’ coffee bean grinder, don’t ruin great coffee beans with a blade coffee grinder. Buy the coffee from your vendor already ground and sealed for freshness and store the ground coffee in one of these containers. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great suction so my products will definitely stay fresh. When you open you can hear the freshness. Easy to open. I have one with my coffee in it and one with my flaxseed, hemp and chia seeds in. I have ordered 1 more for my collagen powder. Looks so nice on my counter

I looove this little canister. I actually use it for dishwasher soap and not coffee. I prefer the powdered dishwasher soap for its value and versatility, but I hate that the boxes of powder are bulky and awkward, and you cannot see at a glance how much you have left. I searched for a while for an appropriate container and this one fits the bill 100%. Nice, thick, durable acrylic, with moisture-proof gasket, and a built-in scoop. The scoop is handy as I can precisely measure my soap for each load. This is one of my all-time favorite purchases for my kitchen. It does not hold a full large box of the soap, so store the box with my other large cleaners until it's rime to refill, and the cannister stays under my sink, near the dishwasher.

Excellent product, keeps our matcha fresh and vibrant. Protects from uv with tinted walls, and airtight closure. Only detail I would add for future design in the ceramic piece that helps keep moisture out. **I accidently knocked it off the ledge from an average counter height and it landed on the corner. The corner took a hard hit and it cracked all the way through leaving a small hole. But the reat of the container is in perfect condition. It did not shatter. Great quality!
