This one works Perfect. I ordered this one First (Aluratek Universal Bluetooth Audio Cassette Receiver) the more expensive one and it Did Not Work. It kept changing from Side 1 to Side 2 by it's self in the Car. I sent it back and ordered this one the Arsvita brand. It works perfect in the car or in the home stereo and an Old boom box. The Quality is Wonderful, it is Loud, Clear Stereo sound. You will Love it. Wished I new about it sooner. Enjoy. Darrell.

This adapter works very well for streaming music into my factory car stereo, which I’d rather not replace since it sounds and looks good. The battery lasts a long time and it pairs effortlessly with my phone. However, there are a few minor annoyances that come with it. The gears inside are a bit noisy. There are several YouTube videos showing possible fixes. Ultimately, I put a light coating of petroleum jelly on all of the gears and it quieted them down to an acceptable level. Also, while the sound quality is good, it seems to be a little heavy on treble, and light on bass. I simply adjust the EQ on the stereo to the sound I want. Not a deal breaker for me at all. Overall, I would recommend this cassette adapter to anyone looking to bring their tape deck into the modern era of streaming. For the price it can’t be beat.

I just installed the Arsvita Bluetooth wireless cassette receiver in my 2000 Miata (cassette only, no wire). It works great and I love it since I don’t have to replace anything in the console to have Bluetooth capability and streaming music. The car has a premium Bose system, with four speakers and a separate amp. Stereo separation is excellent and volume is more than enough. The cassette has some faint, mechanical noise from the transport mechanism inside that mimics an actual cassette. If the tape spindles didn’t turn, most units would think it was the end of a tape, and try to auto reverse or stop. But the noise is nothing compared to the wind noise, engine noise, and tire noise in a Miata. It’s running on program A (side A). I suspect it would auto reverse if I tried selecting side B.

Audio is fine, a little tinny/high treble, but can be equalized out easily enough. What is a problem is the mechanical noise - lots of clicking/whirring noises from the mechanism itself. Fed up with trying different brands with varying results, I disassembled this unit and added a little silicone lubricant to the wheel bearing surfaces and gears, and it greatly reduced the mechanical noise to the point of being close to par with actual cassette tape noise. In all, it works, I wish the mechanical noise was an engineering consideration rather than a consequence that you either live with or have to fix yourself. But, who am I kidding here, trying to retrofit 80's tech with modern streaming, I'm just happy I was able to find something that worked well enough out the box to allow me to stream to the coolest car audio deck ever created (CQ-R9550EU).

Ordered this for our drive to Louisiana from Houston TX for Thanksgiving in my husband's car (02 Chevy Trailblazer). We have tried other adapters that go through a radio frequency, but the sound was always a little off and you had to constantly adjust the frequency. This was great for whole 4 hour ride! It held a full charge the whole way and the music came through very clear. Super easy to connect to and it came with a charger cord.

Have an 80s car with tape deck and this is perfect. Works great. Battery was amazing but isn’t holding as long as a charge anymore but still better than having to have a stash of tapes or to pull out the whole unit and find a replacement

Cassette doesn’t work well in the player. I tried to use one side however it kept making a buzzing noise in the player as if it’s stuck and it eventually ejected after 4 times of readjusting itself. I tried flipping it with the words facing on the bottom of the disk and it goes in just fine and works however it only plays music on the right side of my car
