Gentle on sensitive eyes
This bottle of under eye exfoliation arrived fully shrink wrapped inside a box. I always love it when skin care companies ensure their product is tamper proof. Before trying on my eyes, I tried the product on my hand first. The blob you see on my hand is one full pump of product-in my opinion, entirely too much for two under eye areas. Definitely do not fully depress the pump, or you will end up with enough for 4-5 people. Anyhow, if you look at the next photo of my glistening hand, you can see that this product takes forever to dry down. It was easily 15 minutes before my hand was dry, and it still retained a shininess to it (I’m guessing that is all the aloe?). The smell is more like that of acetic acid (vinegar), and while not pleasant, it’s not horrible either. I was very aware of the scent, as I applied one pump of product to my hand, which was entirely too much. When it came time to trying it under my eyes, I used a tiny amount to dot under each eye socket and blend. It did take time to dry down, but as I had been more judicious in usage, it dried faster and was less overtly scented than when I had done my hand experiment. The directions say you can also follow this application with another eye moisturizer, so that is what I did. You are only to use this at night, and only 2-3x per week. Definitely be sure to use sunscreen and eye protection (sunglasses) after using this product, as your skin will be more sensitive to the sun, and do NOT combine with other acids or retinoids. For me, this eye refiner left my under eye skin looking moisturized after one use. I fully expect that in time, it will help with some mild crepey lines that I have starting form. My eyes are SUPER sensitive, and I had no trouble using this under them. I would suggest that if you also have sensitive eyes, follow this up with a moisturizing eye cream after it has dried down.

Works very well for under eyes
I am in my mid forties (and consider myself to have mature skin). I have been taking care of my under eye area since my early twenties (as I saw that my mom's under eyes were severely saggy and I definitely did not want that for me) and I am so glad I started that young. With that being said, I take great care of my under eyes and even though I try lower end and higher end products, I am always looking for things to help maintain my under eyes wrinkle free. So, when I saw this product, I decided to order. Other than eye creams and serums, I have never used anything else for my undereyes. I was a tad bit nervous to try a AHA and Lactic Acid mask for the delicate eye area, but decided to use anyway. I regularly use Dr. Dennis Gross AHA peels in the am (when I do not use retinol products the night before), so I am familiar with AHA. With that being said: I started using this one time per week and I have now progress to two times and I love the results. I do see that some of my puffiness is less noticeable and my under eye area appears brighter. It caused no real irritation (although I did start slow). I am very much sold on this product and so glad I tried out.

super strong lactic acid - not for me
Bioelements Quick Refiner for Eyes What is it? eye gel What does it do? This fast-acting, clinically proven gentle peel features exfoliating enzymes and alpha hydroxy acids to sweep away lines and eliminate the signs of fatigued, aging eyes. Does it do what it says it will? possibly, I had to wash it off since it has a weird scent due to the lactic acid. Skin Type? Good for most skin types but not my sensitive skin - it burned a bit What do I think? I can't tolerate the scent of this eye refiner - it just doesn't smell right to me and I ended up washing this off since it burned a bit when I tested this on my wrist. There was no way I was going to use this around my eyes. I used a lot of exfoliants with chemicals around my eyes and never had one that just didn't smell right unless it was full-strength lactic acid and since this is combined with malic acid, I think this might be where the issue is. This is just too strong for me. Key Ingredients? Antioxidant: Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract Exfoliant: Tartaric Acid (Dl-), Glycolic Acid, Malic Acid, Lactic Acid Skin-identical ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin Soothing: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Allantoin Volume: 15ml Made in: USA (?) Scented: sort of - strong lactic acid smell. How does it arrive? basic plastic vacuum pump bottle Safety Sealed? yes Use by: 12 months after opening. Expiration Date: none, no manufacture date either

Better For Younger Eyes
No matter what adult age you are, it's extremely important to tend to the skin on your face, including around your eyes, starting at an early age. Start young and your skin will most likely continue looking younger even once you have reached a much more advanced age. It's a part of your body that constantly needs tender loving care. This is a decent eye serum that I think would be especially good for those with younger eyes. I say that mostly because it's a somewhat thin clean serum that conditions the skin, but isn't really something that works as well on older, more damaged skin. This is a simple eye serum that will moisturize the skin and help to depuff the eyes. Not extreme, but I've seen a noticeable difference. Will help to alleviate crepey skin, but I haven't seen it do a whole lot for deeper set lines. Again, quite good for younger skin. Will make younger eyes brighter looking and help to keep the skin around the eyes looking healthy. I have mature combination skin and this is fine for most days for me, but I do need something richer on my bad days. The bottle is nice and I really like the distribution method. Easy to use and looks nice. The substance seems to be nice and clean and as though it will be safe to use by those with sensitive skin. There was no scent that I could detect. Just as good for a man's use as it is for a women.

An exfoliant for under eye area
Definitely use with caution because it does contain actives like AHA which are chemical exfoliants. Your under eye area is very delicate and even though chemical exfoliation is so good for your skin and ironically can be more gentle than physical exfoliation, you need to be careful and patch test esp if you have sensitive skin. This product is pleasantly and lightly scented and I experienced no irritation. I layered a very thick eye cream on top. I think with increased usage I may see younger and smoother skin. To be honest my under eye area is not the place I need the most exfoliation as it's already pretty delicate but everyone is different and this could brighten your eyes if you have dull skin underneath. Always use sunscreen as well!!

Gentle on the sensitive skin around the eyes
It came in bubble wrap and a bottle was shrink-wrapped. I love that it’s cruelty-free and made in the USA. Also, it’s fragrance-free but has a mix of citrus and acid smell. The smell doesn’t bother me and that dissipates quickly. The color is a clear and thinner gel-type consistency. I was afraid to use it at first because it has so many exfoliant ingredients. I patch-tested on the inside of my arm first and had no adverse reactions, so I tried it on the skin around my eyes. No irritation! I liked how it feels on my skin and felt hydrated. I’m only using it once a week right now, then increase it to twice a week later. If it works great, I’ll increase it to three times a week. I won't use it more than that. Too many good things are more harmful than good. It's hard to find good exfoliating skincare products for the eyes. I have high hope for this gentle peel. I highly recommend Bioelements Quick Refiner for Eyes.

Bottle nonoperational
I love bio elements so I was disappointed when the they’ve gone to plastic bottles. Neither bottle I purchased had a working pump. It’s frustrating having to keep sending things back!

Perfect Addition To My Night Time Eye Routine!
Bioelements Quick Refiner for Eyes has proven to be a gentle yet effective addition to my skincare eye routine! The eyes peel exfoliates the skin around the eyes gently. It's formulated with AHA and lactic acid, which work together to remove dead skin cells and promote a smoother, more youthful appearance without causing irritation! After a month of use, I've noticed a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes after using this product consistently. The lightweight, gel-like texture glides smoothly onto the skin, and it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. Despite its exfoliating properties, it doesn't strip the skin of moisture. Instead, it leaves the eye area feeling hydrated and comfortable.
