A must have item that never fails.
These are very accurate and I highly recommend these. And the best thing is no need to worry about batteries failing you. I’ve had digital calipers fail me at the range not that that’s detrimental but it’s inconvenient to say the least. You can’t go wrong with these.

A little gritty and rough
The caliper zeroed easily. Has stayed zeroed. It measures accurately. It is a little rough and gritty feeling at first. I'm expecting that it will smooth out some with time. It's an OK caliper and better than many other budget/inexpensive calipers I have used over the years though and will work for my use lathing and machining small parts and seating bullets.

... of a year ago from Amazon and it works fine..
I purchased one of these just of a year ago from Amazon and it works fine... Only issue I had was with a plastic spacer on the back near the end cracking which was a simple fix (just removed the spacer and ground down the screws). I decided to get another one so that I could reload with others (and for a spare). The fit/finish on the newer models have dropped considerably. The whole mechanism feels like it's full of grit and doesn't slide well. In addition, they redesigned the case so that it no longer has hinges but is the bendable plastic connection (thus will break) and the calliper doesn't even fit in the case anymore. It's like the thumb locking screw is too long to fit. Finally, the packaging doesn't withstand Amazon's shipping, so the plastic dial crystal was all scratched up making it hard to read. On a positive note: The plastic spacer that cracked on my old one is now metal. But ultimately, I returned it for a refund and purchased another brand.

The calipers are a good deal, I have the blocks to check them ...
The calipers are a good deal, I have the blocks to check them for accuracy and they are well within tolerance after a few months of steady use. Being in the aircraft business I have used much more expensive calipers. These are up to the job for reloading. Delivered on time.Side note---- never buy from RELIABLE VALUES. They will make you sleep like a baby. You sleep two hours wake up and cry, sleep two more hours wake up and cry, on and on and on for 17 days.

Beautiful accurate gauge ... I'd buy it again
Its a beautiful looking caliper ... and seems in every visible way to be a quality item. It also seems to be right on accurate (tested it on some Whiteside brass height gauges ... it was exact). Shock proof wise I have no information (and I'd rather not ever have to put it to that test). But it appears to be very well made. With what I've seen so far I'd be happy to buy it again.

but great for using at the house
Have to move the slider slowly or it will read a couple degrees off. Slider has some drag as well. Not as professional built as what I use at work, but great for using at the house. Serves all my needs well, and at a good price.

Cracked Face
Works as advertised but arrived with a crack on the plastic face. See photo

Works as designed
I got this one because it does not depend on batteries to operate. Checking zero is simple and being able to adjust the zero setting is also easy. Had to Google "how to read a dial capiler" and then had to measure a few casing and bullets to get it down. Over all, a reliable product that fits my reloading needs.
