This comprehensive physics textbook provides step-by-step guidance, diverse problem types, and insights to enhance understanding of concepts and recognize patterns. Review: A Fantastic book - This book is absolutely brilliant I really enjoy reading this book it is written in a format that is so enjoyable to follow. Some reviewers have criticised its size but I don't see a problem, many undergraduate text books have a similar size in terms of the cover, it is a thick book but contains so much information it needs to be. If you are studying undergraduate level physics for a career or just for fun then this is the book to get. It is written in a format similar to an A level text with diagrams in colour and with some great real world photos. It is without doubt one of my favourite books. Review: Improper handling, but one hell of a book.. - The book came in completely torn apart, but desertcart has shipped another one free of charge with zero questions asked. It was a great experience. The books themselves are a true piece of art, they contain every single bit of physics that I would need as an Electrical Engineer student.

A comprehensive book about the physics, needed for undergraduate students.
This book is mainly for undergraduate students. It presents the main notions and principles of physics. The book is not about theoretical physics, it presents the subject from the experimental view. It is very important, that the book contains lot of examples, which helps the deeper understanding of the material.

Perfect
Good print quality. Well packaged and delivered. It's quite large (it's bigger than A4). Quite small print.

THE textbook for physics
It's basically just the definitive textbook for the first level of any physics degree (certainly in the United Kingdom, anyway). Literally thousands of practice questions (with answers to only the odd-numbered ones, quite strangely) and covers all the content in extreme detail. Because of this stay aware it is literally 1700 pages long and ENORMOUS

Huge book
Was recomended it by lecturer. Used it once.

Great content poor quality production.
First let me say this is a great physics text book but the great content is let down by the flimsy cover and thin, fragile paper of the pages. A typical low quality American publication that in no way justifies its high price.

Damaged
Considering this cost a lot of money. This is unacceptable condition. Even the pages are ripped. Not happy

I ordered this book from seller "Pool of Books". The book was shipped by DHL, arrived in perfect shape and faster than initially planned. Much has been written about this book before and there is not much to add. Considered to be one of the best books ever for university level physics (engineering schools etc.). Entirely in SI units (vital for European market). The book is printed in color which is vital with so many excellent pictures. Some time ago softcover versions of this book were printed in black and white, which was unacceptable. Please, consider that this is a softcover (paperback) edition which costs about 70 EUR (reasonable price for 1.600 pages packed with physics). The entire book is 'front to end' exactly the same as its hardcover version which costs 4 times more (a little less than 300 EUR). Having 1.600 pages, this book is 5 cm thick and rather heavy for carrying around. If you plan to carry it around frequently (in backpack etc.), you might consider buying the more expensive hardcover version. Softcover is fine for your desk, but it might be too soft for your backpack. Summary: Excellent physics book in SI units, same contents and quality as its much more expensive hardcover version, reasonably priced but too soft for extensive carrying around. Recommended as 5 stars.

Everything explained so well that you very rarely need additional sources to solve every problem at the end of the chapter
