As a student in Iowa, I travel across a college campus in a variety of weather conditions. In my experience, Lifeproof cases have withstood all weather; be it rain, snow, freezing conditions, or heat. My cases from Lifeproof have consistently held up through camping trips, kayaking endeavors, and general mishaps and falls. I returned to the brand I love to purchase the Lifeproof FRE for iPhone 6/6s. This is a case that would be perfect for students, parents, and anybody who might need extra-tough protection on their phone. The water resistance and built-in screen protector features of the FRE case were major factors in my decision to purchase this product. The case uses attachments to protect the ports on your phone, and easily opens to allow the user to charge their phone or insert headphones. The port protectors are a part of the design that allows the phone to be water resistant, snow resistant, and keep dust and unwanted items from entering your phone. I can attest to the statement that the case is shock-proof, as I dropped it off a ladder the day after it arrived in the mail, and there was not so much as a scratch on the case! I was first recommended the Lifeproof FRE case for my previous phone after my coworker dropped her phone, protected with the FRE case, from a bridge onto railroad tracks. She was astonished that the phone could withstand such an impact, and suggested I consider the brand. I have had multiple problems with cracked screens and dented phones in the past using other cases that make similar claims, but Lifeproof far surpasses other brands in terms of durability and quality. The case is sleek, stylish, and is available in a variety of colors. I purchased the case for the iPhone 6/6s, but the brand offers cases for numerous makes of phones. Amazon.com seems to offer a low price for the Lifeproof FRE compared to other in-store cases that I have seen displayed. The product arrived in a timely manner, which is just another perk of ordering from Amazon.com. I am very satisfied with my new case, and I would highly recommend this brand to anybody who needs a tough, durable case for any phone. Lifeproof is a great way to sum up the product, as it seems to be able to withstand just about anything life could throw at you.

Found an old phone and decided to use it for music but needed a case. Decided on this one. Works great

The color was beautiful but got dirty as it was a light color. The color itself is so gorgeous and the case isn’t hard to clean so that’s fine. Life proofs aren’t really LIFE proof. Especially the headphone jack, the cover always breaks off. That isn’t an issue with newer models of iPhones but it is an issue for the others. They do tend to wear down and break and at most for me will last 3 years. But my phone itself isn’t broken. That’s the important thing. Using lifeproof phone cases have allowed me to drop my phone numerous times and get water droplets on the phone and it hasn’t broken and thus my phone’s lifespan has increased by one year since I’ve started using lifeproof. I used to replace my phone every 2 years now it’s 3+. Definitely worth the buy to avoid paying 180$ for screen repairs!

It truly lives up to its promises of durability and water protection. I've found that with a bit of care, the movable parts of the case pose no issue whatsoever. However, one thing to note is that it tends to show some signs of wear along the rubber edges due to dirt accumulation. Despite this minor inconvenience, its unmatched reliability makes it a must-have accessory for anyone looking to safeguard their device in any environment. Highly recommend!

I give the LifeProof Fre Series Waterproof Case 4/5 stars. I have had it for a few months now and it has protected my phone very well. The whole phone is protected, including the screen with a plastic protector, which makes it difficult to type sometimes, but is well worth it for the protection you get. It also has a little rubber screw cap that you can twist into the auxiliary port protecting that area as well. Reasons This Case is GREAT: -Water/Snow Proof- You no longer have to worry about not being able to capture beautiful pictures and videos that normally you would be scared to take! The LifeProof Fre series case is sealed tight and can be submerged under water for up to an hour, which allows you to take your phone basically anywhere around water or snow. -Shock proof- With this case you can be clumsy and drop your phone without it getting damaged. -Scratch Proof Screen Protector- This case includes a thin sleek screen protector that you cannot even tell is there. The screen protector is attached to the case itself and it keeps your phone from getting scratched or ruined while keeping it in your pocket or purse. -Many Color Options- The company allows you to show your inner you with multiple color varieties; Whether you like dark or bright phone cases there is a LifeProof color for you. -Size and Weight- Most phone cases that are capable of this many features are big and bulky but this one is very comfy! It is a little bigger than the Iphone itself but it is still very slender and is very lightweight. The Ideal owner of this case is someone who wants to bring their phone with them to all the adventurous things they do, while still keeping it protected. If this pertains to your lifestyle this case is for you! The case is well worth the money. On Amazon it is around $45, which is way cheaper than buying a new phone when yours breaks without a LifeProof case to protect it.

Best phone case ever made. I ran over my phone with my car and my phone was fine. Only the little cover over charger port was broken. So sad product is no longer made. My friend shattered her screen so I gave her my old one with the broken she used it for 3 years before she got a new one

I should've updated this much sooner but kept putting it off. I bought this in September 2016 so I feel the need to update my review. I went from a 5 star to 1 star. But that's the sellers fault. It's now April 2017 and my case has been falling apart slowly.. I lost the finger pad on it shortly after buying it. The volume button fell off about 4 moths ago and now there's some tares on the sides of the case. I had contacted the seller once the volume button fell off but they claim there isn't anything they can do. And for me to contact lifeproof. So I did, but Because I bought it from Amazon, lifeproof won't send me a new one. I don't recommend buying from this seller if that's how they treat their customers. I won't be buying from them again. Previoud review. I bought this for my iPhone 6s, I love this case Bc I know my phone won't get ruined if it gets wet or if I drop it Bc it's 100% protected and covered. My phone is always protected by a case. After all phones are expensive! A lot of people complained about it being muffled on the other end and people can't hear them clearly but I never had this issue. I'm happy I can find this on Amazon because it's much cheaper then any other store. I refuse to pay $80 for a piece of plastic and rubber. I hope Amazon continues to sell them for a cheaper price. Any charger I have fits into it. They did change the Extention port to hook it up to blu tooth in your car but that's provided. I tried using the one for my iPhone 5s but it didn't fit.

Replaced the black case with this salmon-colored case for my iPhone 6S+. Didn't think I'd like it. It's so easy to see where my phone is on my desk, on my shelf and at work. Great price.
