This is a great door bottom that was easy for me to install myself. Make sure you measure the bottom of the door correctly to make sure you have the correct length before you order. As long as the existing door bottom you currently have isn't attached to the door by nails or glue, all you have to do is get a long flat head screwdriver to pry the old one off, then slide the new one on. Make sure you have the inside end lined up perfectly with the inside end of the door. I made this mistake and had to take it off and redo it, as it doesn't slide once you start, it's actually nicely snug to the door bottom. Snap it one all the way up the bottom of the door and VIOLA! You're set. I didn't have to wait for my husband to do this minor maintenance that drives me crazy. One thing to note: this was crimped at one end during shipping due to the box being a bit snug. I let it set at room temperature for a few days and it relaxed nicely. This was a great purchase.

I followed instructions I saw on YouTube videos: remove the door by removing the hinge screws from the door frame -- the hinge pins were too tight, too hard to remove, so I employed my battery-powered impact screw driver to make it easy and fast; I laid the doors across some saw horses to work on them; I pried the old seal (in shambles, really) out of the doors with a flat screwdriver; I pressed the new seals in place by hand, initially, then I tapped the seal into the grooves on the door, with a rubber hammer, to fully seat them in place. After that, I had my son assist me in holding the door in place, while I re-installed the screws with my battery-powered impact driver. It was fast, efficient, and the new seals worked flawlessly. I did not need to cut it to fit, either -- it was an exact fit, without trimming. Cheers!

This product fit perfectly and was easy to trim and install. For such a simple product and basic material, I feel like the price is high. That being said, it is comparable with other brands available.

Fit my older Jeld-Wen Smooth-Pro fiberglass exterior door perfectly. Kerfs fit just like the factory original sweep. Door is at least 10 years old so I was very happy that it fit like the original.

The original threshold came off quite easily. When it came time to replace with this, it was a bit tricky.. We didn’t have much room between the bottom of the door & the floor so couldn’t see what we were doing. We thought it was in a couple of times and had to remove it & start over but finally got it on the 3rd try. It worked best for us to start pushing it into the grooves from the farthest part of the door away from us rather than trying to slide it like some of the YouTube videos showed. It works great to keep any draft out so it was worth the work.

We bought these for three doors and loved the fact that they were so easy to install. I gave low marks for adhesion because we didn’t need to glue them. We took off the doors and simply slid in the new one, loved this! Also, loved the tight fit of the door. What I don’t like is that we have only had one on for a few months and the edge is already tearing and peeling off. This product DOES NOT last if you use the door a lot.

Great replacement door sweep. It fit perfectly without having to make any adjustments to it on my Jeld Wen Door. Very easy installation. It took all but 5 minutes to install at the bottom of the door. It is the second one that I have purchased and installed for my front and rear doors.
