I know i could have built my own and done just as good with one dial, but these do a good job and are much more simple to use. Personally I'm not planning on abusing it, but i really wish it came with a nice case for storage instead of a cardboard box. It's not the cheapest option but it is (in my opinion) the best. It seem to be built well and the shank is true to size.

It definitely does the job well. Don't get me wrong these are not high end gauges but they do work good for the job. I really like that you have multiple positions to set it up to use it. Just remember you can't just put the gauges onto the holder and think they are zeroed in. Either Google or YouTube how to set it up. It is super easy to zero it in and gives great results after zeroing the machine in. I would highly recommend. The only suggestion I would make to the company selling them is to either sell them with a case or at least offer one to purchase that holds everything good. That way your gauges are good to use the next time you need them. Not just thrown in a drawer.

It's a great tool and works well, but it loses a star for not providing a storage solution or a magnet. I have comparable brands that cost the same amount and provide a storage case and a magnet. If the cardboard box was intended for that purpose, I wish there was something stating that before it was thrown out.

I was hesitant to spend the money on this, as it’s not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but after achieving mediocre results with my own DIY tramming tools I decided to give in. I am so glad that I did. 10/10…Amazing product all around. It’s extremely accurate, it’s perfectly sized to my current setup (Genmitsu 3020-PRO Ultra), it’s aesthetically appealing, and there is clear instructions for properly using it. With nothing more than this tool and an hour or so of my time I was able to achieve better results cutting aluminum with my machine than any of the dozens of video reviews I watched around the web before I purchased it. The investment is 100% worth it.

This tool makes tramming your milling machine head a snap. Other commenters have complained that the dial indicators fit too loosely in the tool arms. Not a problem, the fit is snug enough and set screws keep the indicators from moving.

Purchased to tram my X-Carve CNC and worked well for that task. In conjunction with some brass shims I was able to get it calibrated and running great. The build quality is excellent and it was easy to use. Definitely better than my prior 3D printed setup I was trying to use.

Not used it yet,but purchased due to a mate buying one and couldn't recommend highly enough. Personally so far I will say I am very impressed with finish and quality,particularly for the price,also very impressed with the supplied dial gauges which have a beautiful smooth operation and easy to read bold numbering. Make tramming a doddle. Easy to use and to tram your CNC

I was having some difficulty trying to tram my 65mm Makita router to my CNC table. I decided to give this tool a shot. I installed it in the router and calibrated both gauges to the same zero. A little bit of pulling and a couple pieces of brass shim stock and I was ready to go. It’s not an easy fix but the tool makes it easier to complete. Being able to see the actual values definitely helps. I was so happy that I got my machine properly setup that I threw the included stickers on my enclosure.
