Good quality, quiet extractor fan
About twice the cost of the fan it replaced but clearly much better quality. Not silent. Quiet enough that, standing just outside the bathroom door, you can’t hear anything. So much better than the old one. Really pleased with the noise level. Air flow is adequate for our small bathroom. The fan can be disassembled without tools. Internal wiring is well protected. Even comes with an integrated spirit level

Stylish, well priced, minor issue with connection
The supply was fine, the product is good, it is comparatively quiet, airflow is fine (2 speed), it looks well designed and modern.. I have purchase four of these in the last month, on two of them, I had a problem with the connector. The connector screws have a sliding gate under neath that covers both screw shafts in a see saw fashion. It is possible to screw one end down, but not the other yet still get a positive reading on a multimeter on the screw heads. Leading me to falsly believe I have a good connection, as the see saw is touching both screws. Also, the connector is fiddly small. I still think the product and price is good

The most quiet fan I have used
Fan is silent on the low setting, not silent at all on the high setting; but low setting is good enough for sufficient air extraction and can be set on a 30 minute timer.

Good quiet small fan.
This is my fourth Vent Axia fan as I have worked around our ageing house fans over the last few years. Good fan BUT the latest fan has repositioned the power entry access by 90 degrees. This makes it difficult to easily replace old for new and requires some fiddling with the wiring. I gave up and have positioned the new fan at 90 degrees to the old to make cable access easy. Fan works well.

Not as quiet as its predecessor
Its different and I was worried about the lack of VentAxia branding on the front but its got all the right paperwork so minor quibble. Was bought to replace a predecessor version wall mounted toilet fan that ran so silently you had to put your hand out to feel the airflow. This version is nowhere near as quiet running, it hums. I'd happily swap it out for the older VASF-100. So not silent! Not too loud but definitely not the quiet of the old version, but I can't find them anymore. The innards are different too... the electronics are encased in a plastic shield you have to take off before you can fix it to wall or ceiling. The other obvious difference in the draft /backflow flaps on the end of the fan section... thus version has very very thin paper like flaps where the old version had hard plastic flaps that opened when the dan was operating and closed to stop drafts when it wasn't working... these flaps look like a very cheap "upgrade". Otherwise it works fine as an extractor for the toilet but its not silent and I just get the feeling its been changed to use cheaper design and parts but without a commensurate drop in price for the customer. Shame as it was a superb silent product.
