Probably the best choice in a niche market
It's a simple piece of tech: FM, AUX, BT, and CD. It comes with a remote and mounting kit (screws, spacers, and a useless template). There are recurring themes in other reviews: poor LCD viewing angles, L O U D radio volume upon startup, and poor audio quality.First, yes, the viewing angles are a bit crummy. But chances are other appliances in your kitchen have a clock.Second, the radio was loud the first time I turned it on. And the second time, and the third time. I almost returned it. But other radios have the same problem or lack a CD player. I decided to put up with it. After installing the backup AA batteries, though, the radio no longer starts up at full volume. Let me say this again: insert AA batteries to stop the radio from turning on at full volume. The AA batteries probably serve as a preference backup. Finally, the audio quality. No, it isn't perfect. It's decent. There's no sub for resounding bass or tweeters for high end clarity. There is no EQ either. But, you're in the kitchen... Audio quality doesn't matter much when your range hood is on full blast or you're doing, you know, kitchen things.Overall, it's good enough. I got the refreshed version with two tone silver and black. If you want an under cabinet radio, you probably can't do much better than this (for new, at a decent price).Again, install AA batteries to stop the radio from turning on at full volume every time.

Radio
Audio is a bit tinny sounding. FM reception is good. Bluetooth connection seems to work well.

Works but wrong Brand
Works well. But it's not a Sylvania , it's a Proscan but does work good

OK for the price paid
Looks good, easy to install with clear instructions. The sound quality is fair given it’s a simple kitchen radio. It works great on Bluetooth but the FM reception is poor at best to the point you can’t really use it in that mode.

Don't waste your money
Used 4 times, quit working. We were about 2 weeks outside the Amazon return window so I called the "customer service" number. Got a very obnoxious unhelpful person who kept telling me to return it to Walmart. When I finally got it through to him I bought it from Amazon, he took my info and told me he was sending me to warranty, then hung up on me. 50 bucks down the drain.
