First cheap and fun entry to nerd, when practicing
Still work, after minor fix

Shoots hard, but jams once in a while.
It shoots well over 50 feet with no drop in velocity, it jamed once when I did not load the mag properly, but it was user error. For a casual or target shooter, it is a great and fun blaster.

Nerf gun for a good value
Good things about the gun are: -The power behind it is impressive. The balls shoot incredibly fast and far. -It's super fun to reload and the slide on the back is a fun feature. -Lightweight even with the magazine in. -The trigger and slide are easy to pull, making it a breeze to fire for younger kids. Not so good are: -You only get 7 rounds of ammunition with this package. -The ammo is small and round, meaning it bounces a lot and frequently gets lost. -The gun jams often when pushing the slide forward to load the round. This is easily correctable but annoying if you're trying to rapidly fire. This would be a five star gun if it didn't jam so often and had a few more rounds of ammo. It is a blast to shoot and I really wish I could give this gun a 5.

Order more balls
My 8 year old loves this toy. Plan to order more balls because like the nerf bullets the balls get lost. This thing shoots pretty hard and you wont like getting hit in the face with it. There aren't real instructions that come with it to show you how to get it to work so it will take a few minutes of fiddling with it to figure it out.

hard to unjam
it works well but when you hold down the trigger and prime it over and over it jams after 2 shots

Not your typical nerf gun
I got this for my son for Christmas, he’s 6 years old, I didn’t realize the box said 14 and up, I didn’t think much of it as it’s just a nerf gun and then when we opened it up I realized why this is for an older kid, haha. This is a serious nerf gun! It should not be given to a child who would point it at their own face or a siblings face. I had my son shoot me with it to see what we were dealing with and it’s no joke for a kid. He can use it himself but I would recommend adult supervision with this one.

Stay away from these
**Update** There are several folks here who had the same problem and showed a "fix" for it (with pictures). Find those posts! The "fix" actually worked. Still a 1 star product, though. Bought 3 of these for Halloween cup shooting game. The 1st one broke after just 2 shots. The other 2 broke within the hour. Will not cock. Trigger jammed. Stovepipe the balls. Complete junk and waste of money.

Fun gun, but jams, seems designed to!
Got this for one of my kids and it seemed to work great, but there's a problem. it's designed not to be able to cock it twice before firing, but you can, if you pull down a locking mechanism next to the safety. the problem is, that will allow another tiny mechanism inside the barrel (completely hidden) to lock the cocking mechanism. Unless the black cocking mechanism is fully forward, you can't fire. you can't even pull the trigger, and there is no way to unlock this from outside the gun. Upon full disassembly, I found a small orange piece with a spring inside the barrel, just under the rail that allows the gun to jam. it moves back and forth with the cocking mechanism, but has a tendency to jump to a different locking socket and stay there. I have been unable to ascertain what the design purpose of this element it, but i do know that if you remove it, the blaster functions FLAWLESSLY. it's the reason some of these have pictures where the barrel extends from the front of the blaster. It's suppose to do that in order to load a round, but it's also supposed to retract. it won't retract if the piece about which I am writing jams.

Hell of a blaster!! This is my first rival nerf gun and I am glad I bought it at the low low price of ₹930. The power of the rival series is much more than the Elite series and is aimed at bigger kids and adults. Please note that the priming force required is much higher. There is no slam fire option here. I am not a hard core nerfer and use it for target practice where slam fire is not necessary. There are lots of complaints that this gun jams a lot and I too had similar issues on the first day the gun arrived. You have to be deliberately slow while priming the gun and also remember to push back the primer to its original position. The gun works like a charm and I have never faced jamming since. Accuracy at a 10’ distance is pretty good. Definitely recommended.
