This product was perfect for me. I have 2 spaces that don't have any lights in them - my closet and my gun safe. As soon as I saw this came with double sided tape I knew it would be perfect. No holes to drill, no screws, no ruining a ceiling. There's no instruction needed, throw in some batteries and turn it on "AUTO", stick the double sided tape to the light and stick it up on the surface you want. Then forget about it. Turns on every time I open my closet door and every time I reach in my gun safe. Excellent illumination, I could see myself using it in even a bit of a bigger area than just my closet as well. I'm not even worried about when the batteries die because a simple twist of the light will detach it from the piece that has the tape on it which stays on the surface. Just replace the batteries and twist it back on, no need to keep reapplying tape.

These lights are wonderful. I have one in each bathroom to detect motion for a light when we get up at night so that we don't have anything super bright and best of all it's motion detected so we co not even have to flip the switch. Also, have them going down the basement steps for added lighting in the dark space. Love them. Highly Recommended. The batteries last a long time and they work great!!

Used these on stairs to the basement. They come on with motion from about 4 feet away and light the stairwell really well. Used two.

I have a couple of these in my basement, so I can go downstairs to feed the woodstove. provides enough light to safely do this, and keeps from having to turn lights on for a few min and then turn them back off. Bought 2 more for a couple other spots. Not bright enough to replace all your lighting, but works great when you need some lights

Perfect for occasional use. I have two of these that I installed instead of running a hard wire circuit. Excellent solution. Just enough light for sheds and similar dark places. I wouldn't work under one, but to just light for a short minute it is excellent. Update: I used some batteries that I got from a discount store and they lasted for over a year. I am impressed. I expect to get over a year from my name brand batteries. Happy with battery usage, although these lights probably ran for about 9-10 hours of total run time on junk batteries. Light is perfect for a place where you enter infrequently and just for a minute or two.

I am so pleasantly surprised, I will be ordering another one. It was easy to install. I moved my Mom in with me in 2018, after a couple of operations, and unbelievable pain, I was finally able to complete doing things to her room. This was and is a good solution to installing hiring a electrician and paying for a light fixture to be installed. I put one on the ceiling and one at just below my knee. I am 5'`10. You cannot put them side to side, one will come on but not both at same time. Plenty of light. I would strongly recommend especially to those who are seniors and keeping cost down

Installed in basement stairway. Turns on immediately upon recognizing movement. Light is not blinding. Just the right amount of soft light in the confined space of my enclosed stairway. Turns off after 15 or 20 seconds of not detecting movement but no delay in turning on when movement again detected.

For my intended use, these lights will not work. They are not very bright. I intended to mount these in a basement hallway that is about fifteen feet in length. I mounted these lights about three five feet entering / exiting the hallway and there was about five feet in between them. The lights work and came on with motion but the brightness was just not there. The ceiling height is about 6 1/2 feet and these lights only light up about three to four feet wide onto the floor. With that ratio I would need at least five lights but six would probably be best solution. I also swapped batteries a few times. Same results. The lights are just not bright enough for hallway use in my opinion. The lights would do great in small spaces like a closet but as advertised "hallway"; no. I would be spending $80 for the required amount of lights for a fifteen foot hallway. I will keep them around, find some use for them but there are brighter lights out there within my price range. Not to mention the cost of batteries if I was to do six lights. That is 24 batteries and would get costly.
