Silver Gel with Aloe Vera

Bought this for some burns I sustained on my arms and didn't seem to be healing. I should have gone to the doctor but I'm just to stubborn. This took the pain away and started the healing process immediately. I have also been using this on my shingles rashes on my neck and ear that developed into a staph infection. Don't misunderstand me, I saw a doctor and took medication for both the staph infection and the shingles. But anyone who has had shingles knows that the pain afterwards at the rash site can last months. And where it got infected with staph has been so much worse in the actual healing process. I actually lost a small chunk of my ear. But this has allowed it to finally begin to heal. And I can actually wear my glasses again. This gel dries fast, doesn't leave a sticky residue, I have to put it on my scalp and it doesn't affect my hair. It won't completely ease the pain but it does lessen it greatly. For my shingles pain and the healing process this has been a lifesaver. I have had shingles before but never on my head, neck and ear. Without this gel I still wouldn't be able to wear my glasses due to the pain it caused my ear. Let me say again, I used this with the medication prescribed by my doctor. Also on a quick note I've noticed in some reviews people stating this is the same silver burn medication prescribed by doctors..... This is NOT the same. The silver burn medication prescribed by doctors has a specific warning not to put on your face because it will scar facial skin. This is clearly not the same. I unfortunately have burned myself a few times and used that silver cream and that is the one thing every doctor makes sure to tell me every time, don't use in on your face! So if you think you have a burn that requires a doctors treatment and that cream, seek medical treatment!

I had an oval shaped burn blister on the top of my foot about 3/4 inch wide and 1.5 inches long. I got this after spilling boiling water on my foot while cooking at a camp site (lesson: always wear close to shoes when cooking at a camp site!). The first night I ran my cold water over my foot for 20 minutes and then I used the available supplies in my first aid kit to apply Bacitracin gel and taped on gauze pads. The next day back at home I used an iodine solution to clean and let air dry at night but protected with taped on gauze pads during the day. A friend who is a doctor recommended that I look for silver sulfadiazine cream. He told me this is what his hospital uses for burns. I search Amazon and found this gel (instead of cream). One of the reviews mentioned that after 20 minutes the gel dries to form a thin dry layer over the wound. perfect. I purchased this and Amazon Prime delivered the next day. I have been using it almost continuously (see below) several times a day for the past 2.5 weeks with excellent results. At one point - a week into my burn injury - I accidentally kicked a toy that my kid left on the floor. The blister popped (very gross). I cleaned with iodine to disinfect and applied wound powder to help form a scab. Once the scab formed, I went back to the gel the next day. In the shower I washed the burn area very gently with soap and water. Gently pat dry and let air dry some more while I brush my teeth. Then re-apply gel. It dries to form a clear protective layer in about 20 minutes. No need for a dressing or bandage while sleeping - only needed during the day for protection. Great results with the First Aid Silver Gel. Easy to use. Non-greasy and clear so its not messy. 5 stars!

I was placed on a new medication in the fall for asthma that I had just been diagnosed with at the age of 49. There were no warnings on the pill bottle, nor did the doctor or pharmacist mention anything to me about sensitivity to sunlight. I went down to Florida in the spring to see my family. We were walking around a tree lined, shaded area downtown for a little over an hour, and as you can see by the attached photo, the outcome for me was not good! I soon discovered I had a rare side effect from this medication that makes me ultra sensitive to sunlight. I had second degree burns on my arms and legs, with minor burns on my face. The ER Urgent Care gave me some salve to put on my burns, but it did not feel like it was helping. I ordered this product, and within 30 minutes of putting it on, I was feeling relief!! I ended up using a couple of bottles of it, but it was a gift from God. It healed my burns 100% without any marks or scarring. This is an amazing product!

Noticed that my wound healed a little faster than normal when I used this gel. Good product.

I'm giving 5 stars on everything. I bought this to help balance the ph levels on my hands as I suffer from eczema. I like that it is 30 ppm vs 10. There is no unpleasant scent or stickiness. Absorbs really well. It keeps my hands hydrated and works well on its on or in conjunction with the eczema hand cream I apply afterwards. Normally, my hands are greasy from constantly applying creams. Since implementing this into my hand care routine I am able to use less creams and lotions which gets very costly when applying after washing and addressing cracked, inflamed and peeling hands. With this gel, a little goes a long way. My hands are healed and my hands feel normal...finally! Also, I applied to to my wrist when grease splattered while cooking and no scar or blister whatsoever. I'm so impressed and grateful. I feel eczema free and I hope it will stay this way. This gel with always be found in this household!

I use regularly on my face, hydrates really well. Tonight I burned myself cooking pretty bad and the pain just wouldn’t go away. Finally got the idea to try this on it and the pain immediately stopped, I couldn’t believe it. Didn’t return either. Went on to Amazon to buy more of it just now for the rest of the family and figured I’d leave a review.

I’m not adding photos just, because it’s a bit graphic. However back in June I got chemical burns on my feet and ankles from a cosmetic procedure and the skin had deep wounds and darkening (2nd degree chemical burn) and no matter what I’ve used it just hadn’t been helping. Finally I bought this on Friday and in a weeks time the burn wounds are healing and my feet and ankle have gotten the natural smooth texture back and the burns are healing every single day. This stuff works so fast, I was scared my skin would never go back to normal…but thankfully it’s healing and happening faster than I expected after suffering all summer. Buy this stuff, it’s legit.

This is definately a good product. However the gel is thick and when reapplied leaves an even thicker covering over the skin that feels uncomfortable. For treating eczemic symptoms, it works to have a gel that soaks into the skin more and leaves a thinner covering over the skin, because I reapply more than once to get the benefit of the silver.
