I bought this mainly for Zoom calls, and it's been great so far. The picture is clear and sharp. The microphone works fine, ppl on the other end say they can hear me clearly without any weird echo. The tripod stand is a nice plus, and what i love the most is that i can close the lens for safety. sometimes my son uses my computer for school projects, so this is an important plus for me. If you want to scan QR codes with this camera, let me tell is not going to be easy, i had to make a screen in my computer of the QR that my son uses to log in in the school app, so the camera can detect it, but still a five stars for me.

It's been forever since I had a working webcam and this one is an improvement over my previous one where not only the video quality it more clear, but it won't fall off as often. I was also worried that it wouldn't be compatible with my Windows 10 ( which btw dw, I have its enrollment to help me stay secured until October), but thankfully it is. I also am looking forward what shenanigans I will do on Discord with it's custom backgrounds 😂

Smaller than the description made me think but works good. I have it on one monitor and sound comes from the other monitor (haven't figured out what's wrong with my set up but nothing to do with cam) so there's a slight sound delay you won't hear it you only have one audio source like laptop. Just plug the device in and you might have to go to Windows settings under devices in order to see it's working if you don't have a webcam program (I didn't). The instructions do mention something about such a program that I did download. The program is small and I attached it to my Taskbar. The free version does allow you to be heard and seen; the paid version let's you record. The unit comes with a privacy cover that sticks on the front (when the cover is in place you can't see the little red light but the little icon on the right glows so you'll know the unit is on and broadcasting.) there's no mute button and I didn't buy the paid version of the app to test it. If you already have other webcam software I'm sure it has a mute button though . The unit is very light and the USB cord is long (I didn't measure it but longer than two feet - description says 6.) keep the box (or put in a hard side container) for transport because if you put this thing in a laptop bag by itself it'll be broken by the time you reach your destination .
