We have all Hue lights in our house and love the ecosystem, so adding these strip lights under our floating TV stand was a natural choice. They pair seamlessly with our existing setup, and we use the Hue Sync Box to control the lights, syncing them with whatever is on the TV when we watch movies. These strip lights add a lot to the overall ambiance and make the viewing experience more immersive. The lights were easy to set up and pair with the rest of our system, and I also found them simple to cut down to the desired size. The length is great for most applications, providing enough coverage for our needs. However, there are a few downsides. When running at full brightness, the strip lights can get a little warm, which can cause the adhesive on the back to become gummy. Over time, this can make the lights detach from where they’re stuck. Also, the price is quite high for what they are. While I understand it's a premium product, I feel the cost is a bit steep. Despite these minor issues, I’m overall very happy with them and have several of these strip lights throughout the house. They integrate perfectly into the Hue ecosystem and truly enhance the lighting in our home.

The main thing to note is that you'll get the most out of this if you have a Hue Bridge - it unlocks automations and remote control. Without it, functionality is more limited. Setup is straightforward, and the build quality feels solid. If you're already invested in the Hue system, this is an easy recommendation for adding ambient lighting anywhere in your home.

Pros . Out of the box plug and play, this this is easy to set up . If you don’t not have the hue hub make sure to down load the Bluetooth version of the app. This thing is crazy bright and super easy to use from the app . Found my self not even turning on my main lights . Does not get hot even to the touch Not for the cons The adhesive sucks honestly I ended up going to Home Depot and got a 3/4 Velcro and using that to stick it to the tv and have had zero issues.

I adore Hue lights and own hundreds of dollars worth of Hue lights. These were used for the kitchen. PRO - They look great. The ability to adjust the tone/color is wonderful. Overall just top notch quality I've come to expect from Hue. - The ability to cut and reattach them is a big plus (especially because you will probably break one bit trying to install them. CON - These *do not stick*. Period. They don't! I have tried everything to keep them stuck to the underside of my kitchen cabinets. They don't stick. I cannot understate how much they do not stick. - I have used clips to keep them in place. These work for about 2 weeks at a time before coming off. - The strip itself is made of a chunky plastic. This makes them heavy and bulky, which makes the sticking thing even worse. - The thickness means they don't bend well, and any bends will cause tension which, again, interferes with stickiness. - They are SUPREMELY DELICATE. You cannot press the lights hard or they will break (turn all green). I learned this the hard way. - Since they don't stick, you will be tempted to press them into the thing they're supposed to stick to. This will break the lights and then they still won't stick. Overall, despite the flaws, I DO recommend these lights. they are just beautiful in the kitchen. But be prepared to wage a war over stickiness with these things.

The light was crafted from high-quality materials, making it durable and reliable. Installing it was a breeze, and the setup process was notably simpler compared to another light I purchased previously. However, it's worth noting that it can only be connected by one user via Bluetooth. If multiple people wish to control it, you'll need to purchase a separate control unit.

Philips Hue is worth the money. Govee/Lifx are good alternatives but they just don't have as good of color accuracy. If you plan to bend these, say around a pegboard, buy the litcessory v4 connectors. Cut at the ✂️ marking and attach.

I've bought thousands of dollars worth of Hue products. They're great. The problem is, about 50% of the items I receive from Amazon are obviously used. Sometimes it's just some missing packaging, but other times it's more annoying: the adhesive is missing, a few LEDs are dead, or it's missing parts. Do yourself a favor and buy these straight from Philips. The Amazon inventory seems to be half returned and damaged.

Me encanto la tira de luz, la instalación es muy sencilla y no es necesario el hub, se conecta modo bluetooth. Si cuentas con el puente hub, puedes sincronizarlos con la tira con wifi y asi evitar el uso de bluetooth (y tambien se evita la instalacion de varias apps de control). Al enlazarlo con Alexa tampoco fue un proceso complicado. Le daria 5 estrellas pero le otorgo 4 ya que el pegamento con el cual cuenta la tira no es muy bueno, tuve que colocar algo extra para que se quedara pegada.

Yo lo puse atrás de mi tv y la pegue con cinta doble cara ya que el propio pegamento que trae la cinta no es de muy buena calidad. En general es estupenda. Los colores son geniales y la cantidad de luz es correcta. Yo se que hay una versión de tira especial para TV pero la verdad es que se me hace muy cara y para mí esta funciona bien y es lo que buscaba.

pricy lights but super reliable connection. Other no name brands have issue with wifi connection being unstable and unresponsive. Haven’t had a single issue with Phillips and the app options for lights is great.
