The Good: Great looking clock, quiet, accurate and easy to read. The Bad: A little more expensive compared to similar clocks. The Ugly: The back mounting/battery cover is a little weak. The is absolutely no resistance and it it releases easily. Notes: I installed this clock in my RV and it looks amazing and yes I would buy again.

Quiet and beautiful. Just what I expected and wanted.

I am furnishing a new house and I needed a clock for the media room that would be placed on the blackout wall behind the TV. I wanted to hold with the blackout theme which lands you in a place of limited choices - especially if the aesthetic is important to you. I did not want an illuminated clock because the whole goal of the blackout wall is to not interfere with the theater experience it affords. I was hopeful that the white painted hands against the black background would make the clock readable with just the glow from the TV. I am almost always able to read the time with the room darkened and the TV on. The TV is an LG C2 and dark means DARK - no backlight. Soooo, if the TV blacks out totally, the clock is not readable. Of course not, the room is totally dark and the clock is not illuminated. However with most programming the clock is readable 95+% of the time. The sweep second hand means no "tick-tock-tick-tock" during the quiet scenes while you're perched on the edge of the seat waiting on the stalker to step on a twig or something. Successful on all counts.

Good, nice size and very silent

I recently purchased model BC17B in black, and I must say it has become a stylish addition to my home. The 30cm diameter is just perfect, making it easy to read the time from across the room. While I'm highly satisfied with my purchase, I would have given it a full five stars if the clock included additional features like an illuminated dial for low-light conditions. Nevertheless, this wall clock has proven to be a reliable and attractive timepiece that I would recommend to anyone seeking a blend of style and functionality.

Been wanting this wall clock for quite some time, finally pulled the trigger! Very happy with the quality, and how smooth the secondhand travels around the clock. Braun obviously a very well established company which builds very good quality products. You won’t be disappointed. I only wish they offered the same wall clock in other sizes

In my opinion, this is the most elegant analog clock design of all time. Numbers are easy to read against the black background. Piece is also thoughtfully constructed: when it sits against the wall, it appears to float in space, giving it a pleasant lightness.

Simple, elegant, and beautiful clock that keeps on ticking when electrical service goes off.

Compared to other clocks priced much higher, this is excellent quality. It keeps accurate time, has a glass front, vs plastic, and the yellow tip of the second had looks awesome as it glides around the dial. No sound at all and a perfectly smooth sweep of the second hand. Thinking of getting the same clock in a different colour for another room.
