My second time ordering this flax bread. I had forgotten how small the slices are, hence the low calorie. It's about half the size of cottage bread slices. I love it for the low carb count, high fiber, and health benefits of flax. Texture is hearty and dense. Tastes about exactly as you would expect, earthy. Perfect serving size for a sandwich or topped toast. I prefer it grilled or oven toasted. Must keep in freezer once opened. I portion the loaf into three separate bags before freezing. It's a great option for diabetics, keto persons, or those trying to add healthy grains. Is it worth the cost? Yes you are worth it.

From all the assorted Keto breads I have purchased, this is truly the very best. Although it does not look very good, it looks like somebody sat on it and is rather flat, it is really good from all aspects. It is dense, in a light sort of way. It is chewy, does not fall apart at all, not when frozen or defrosted, you do not have to toast it to keep each slice in one piece and is quite tasty. It is chewy in a good way and really satisfying. I usually have 4 slices at a time with whatever other foods I have. It is definitely worth a try if you are buying keto bread. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

Not bad at all... it obviously is not normal bread, but really good flavor and texture.

Tadte is Just ok and it's extremely chewy. Also, loaf and slices are too small for a full sized sandwich (about half). I threw it away after 6 slices.

The Flax Seed Bread is actually pretty good. Tastes fine to me! I got it for the health benefits. It has a chewy texture. Chewy in the sense of German Rye Breads. IF you like Flax, I think you will like this. Taste is a personal thing. Some people like coffee, for instance, and others can't stand it. (This does not taste like coffee, just an illustration). For me, it tastes pretty good. It is a French Baguette sized Loaf. It makes for small sandwiches. I will probably be ordering more. Normally I order German Rye Bread. [Update, I have ordered now several times now). Anyway, it is a small long loaf. Sliced. I like the taste. Soft, fresh. As far as packaging goes, Amazon is kind of funny how they pack things. The non-breakables are often put in boxes. Like my cardboard office envelopes were shipped in a box. While bread that can be squished is placed in a soft plastic bag. The loaf came in a plastic air-bubble envelope, which was placed in my Mail box. [Update, normally the bread comes in a padded envelope. It survives it all well, though the most recent time, Amazon did ship it in a Box, which is better.] No damage done, I think the bread is flexible enough to be squished. But Amazon should have shipped it a Box with padding. I order a lot of things from Amazon and have about a small percentage is damaged or dented. Most I never return. Anyway, it is a good bread. A nutty taste, just had a sandwich with it for lunch. I don't like Onions, or beets or Broccoli, yet lots of people love those things. So, I am picky, I love exotic breads. So it is that category. To me, it has a really good taste!! Kinda of a nutty taste. Pretty good considering, like German Rye breads it is shipped from overseas. Personally, I would recommend giving it a try.

This product portrays itself to be a healthy alternative to bread, but I reacted to it immediately after eating. When I read the ingredients, WHEAT GLUTEN was listed as the SECOND INGREDIENT. What a joke. So many ppl have issues with both wheat and gluten, so this product is super bad for the gut. They cover this up so you really have to pay attention to the individual ingredients of everything you purchase so you’re not scammed. Waste of money.
