I've been looking for a solid, top quality chef knife for a while now and have spent a lot of money on knives in order to find the right one. This is it! This knife is very comfortable to hold and use but I do not know how they can sell such a VERY sharp knife without more than a silly blade tip protector. If you are planning to put this in a knife tray then DO NOT, it is seriously sharp and even a gentle brush against the blade will cause a bad cut.

Absolutely love this knife! It fits my hand so well and has a wonderful balance while working with it. I’ve never had such a great wee knife! Totally delighted.

Well after little over a month of use it's already lost its sharp edge - and that's cutting on a wooden chopping block. Not surprisingly it turns out to have been made in China - even though it is supposed to be German steel. Won't get fooled again!

Very nice and substantial paring knife. Like many people who cook, I have an assortment of small "paring" knives, which I do my best to keep sharp. They've served me well but recently I've felt like finding something of higher quality. I ordered this one a few months ago and I like it a lot. The first time I used it I sliced a lemon, and it seemed to me like it sort of fell through the lemon, relative to my other basic knives. It is sharp on another level. I would buy again and might buy another one just to have in the drawer. ** I know some people care a lot about being able to put everything in the dishwasher. You may be able to do that with this knife, but really now. It's a quality knife - just rinse it off in the sink!

This is the best knife by far of all the knives in my kitchen.A well balanced knife ,which stays sharp much longer than the competition, I was able to hold up a roma tomato and with minimum effort cut a razor thin slice for use on my face. Very happy with the quality and the price point
