While you can certainly use small calipers to measure spark plug gaps, this tool is an effective, inexpensive way to get the job done - plus you don’t need any battery/power. It seems like every time I go to use my caliper I need a battery lol. You just insert the gap tip in the hole and you can turn the plate until you determine you are at the right gap.

I bought this and gapped a set of plugs to manufacturers specs. I can’t say whether it is absolutely accurate, I didn’t put the micrometer on it to find out, but my vehicle started and ran just fine. 😉 I’d Venturi say it’s pretty close.

Good for one time use, the ferious metal on this product will wear and dent after you gap a set of plugs but is a highly accurate gage-I measured with a digital calipher and is right on the money. The price of the gap gauge you can afford to buy one after every I'd say 10 plug gap settings-the metal wears and gaps will not be accurate.

You should always check the gap on your spark plugs before installing even if they are new. Simple tool but very affective.

Tool is small and easy to lose so be careful. Did not check for accuracy. Used to ensure all sparkplus set to same gap.

Good tool for the price! Mine came a little dirty but easy to clean measuring surface with brass wire brush. Did not break a tip while adjusting spark plug gap👌

Todavia como se trata de um produto comercializado em um país que adota o sistema métrico, as escalas deveriam estar invertidas.
