Worked perfectly!
I had new kitchen cabinets installed. A hole was cut in the cabinet for the outlet under the sink and the cabinet was then set against the wall. Well, this left the oulet deeply recessed behind the cabinet cutout and I needed a way to bring it forward before new sink was installed, which would have made it more difficult to get to due to pipes. In the process of trying to fix it, I stripped the bottom J-box screw hole. Oh boy...what do I do, now. Can't pull the cabinet out. It now has a quartz counter on top of it. I was searching for a fix and found g-clip. It worked perfectly to tighten the outlet. Now, I'll tell you how I brought the outlet from the wall to make it flush with the cabinet. I had to pull the oulet forward, insert a metal C adapter around the outlet hole at the jbox, insert the screw into the outlet hole and then insert a rubber spacer, which went onto the screw. Screw was then fed threw the screw hole on the adapter and into the g-clip. Perfect, perfect, perfect. What I thought was going to be an impossible task with cost for electrician was turned into a DIY project for only pennies. Outlet is nice and tight. Took me maybe 15 minutes to get it all done.

I was skeptical, but these are the best thing ever!
So I bought a house with some problems. I needed to repair some outlet boxes with either broken screw holes or stripped out ones. I was skeptical to buy these at this price point, but wow do they work! Very simple to install and rock solid mounting. I shaved a little drywall under each area I was installing these at to make it simple, but that may be unnecessary depending on your installation. Wall plate covers it anyways. This is definitely worth the money and I wouldn't hesitate in buying these again. As for a review I seen on here of a person drilling out the old screw hole, I'm not sure why they did that. It works with pre existing and broken off screw holes.

Good Purchase
This product was super easy to use and completed the job as needed. My only complaint was that it slips ever so slightly instead of holding fast to the electrical box as I was expecting. Still a great find for the need.

Best accessories for electrical box work
These are single handily one of the best accessories for any electrical box work. I was replacing switches in my home to smart switches and found that every switch in the home was tightened with a drill shattering most of the screw catches in the boxes. Me removing the switch meant the last thread catching no longer could catch, especially with wiring the neutral and the switch being larger. I spent three hours on one box to make the switches level and could not do it and was ten minutes away from saying you know it and taking the box out and redoing it. I decided to try these first. Look, these are not cheap. An electrical box costs a dollar. But these saved me so much time compared to cutting Sheetrock and placing a new box. These shouldn’t be your every time use items, but these are an excellent place B or C. I plan on ordering more and keeping these available in my tools for those just in case moments. If I had these up front, three hours of cussing and headaches would have been resolved in five minutes. Well worth the price.

Makes a tough fix simple.
Think about it. When an electrical box, mounted on a stud behind drywall, goes bad, it's a lot of work to replace the box. It's almost impossible to remove the box without damaging the drywall around it. So a loose receptacle due to a broken box becomes a drywall/paint repair as well. To add to the complexity, my damaged box was mounted behind a tile backsplash. Ugh. These G-clips are the ticket. They're simple and safe to install, are robust, and turn a 2-day drywall/paint job into a 10-minute repair. Don't be a hero, kill the power at the breaker, it only adds a few seconds to an already quick job. Totally satisfied with the functionality of these. Cost is a bit high, but certainly beats the alternative. Highly recommend.

Awesome
I had 2 outlet on exterior concrete walls with broken screw holes on plastic boxes. and outlets were not usable, because you couldn’t pull a plug out without the whole outlet coming out of the wall.. Chipping out and replacing the boxes was not an option. These worked amazing and my new outlet fit in tight and secure to the wall. Was a little tricky to figure out how to secure it the first time but once I figured it out, it worked perfect on the other 3 screw holes.

Can be a little finicky, but WAY easier than the alternative.
My dad lives in a stereotypical 80s suburban house that was thrown together with absolutely zero concern for anything besides maximizing profit. Everything is cheap, and all the work is beyond shoddy. These cute little clips let me fix old brittle outlet boxes without turning it into some huge saga involving cutting out and repatching drywall, which is good, because I detest drywall. Depending on how the box lines up with the drywall they can be a little fiddly to get in and lined up. Some pop right in, some require a combination of needle noise pliers, a flat blade screw driver, and choice language. That said, average time to rip an outlet out, put a couple clips in, and put a new decorator style outlet and cover on is less than 10 minutes, even one of the clips decides to fight. Not bad, especially considering the alternatives.

It works
Almost all of the electrical boxes in my house are broken. The outlet wants to pull out of the wall when you unplug something. Longer screws worked for a while, but the plastic has gotten brittle and splits around them. I had to cut away a little drywall, to make a gap below the box. I wedged the first g-clip on the box and lightly tapped it in with a hammer. After screwing in the outlet, the clip slipped right off the box. Apparently, I broke the bite tabs off the clip and put a crack in the box about 3/8" in, perpendicular to the screw hole. I took off a star because the clip broke pretty easily, though it may have been my fault... The replacement clip pushed right in and has been holding up for almost 2 years now.
