Just Right
These shoes are very comfortable and have good arch support. Can't wait for the next Zumba and salsa classes. True to size but don't wear "thick" socks.

Go up a size from normal street shoe size
Capezio shoes are top quality.

Might run small BUT...know your own needs.
Bottom line: sizing for dance shoes is very subjective & you should be aware of how YOU like your dance shoes to fit before trusting other reviews. I usually wear a 7.5 in street shoes, occasionally a 7 and usually a 7 fits but I like the 7.5 better. Ibought these shoes for irish dance & I ordered an 8 and they fit great. I have wide toe box, and a high arch, and this fits both nicely. I prefer a snug fit for my dance shoes (my irish dance shoes are 3.5 soft/ghillie & 4.5 hard/jig) and I think I could have gotten away with the 7.5 in these as well. If you want these to fit like your street shoes (room/not tight in the toe box)--go at least half size up but no more than a full size. If you like your dance shoes snug, you can order these true to size or at most a half size up. I notice a lot of these reviews seem to be from people with very wide feet/ankles, this is not the case for me. On my first use I find I like the balance of being able to turn & not sliding too much--seems others do not have this experience, I think it depends on what you want them for. If you want super grippy shoes, these are not it. The synthetic sole is somewhat firm & I think they need to be softer for grip. I can move easily without fear of falling. Cannot speak to durability yet.

Great dance sneaker
I am a dance instructor and needed a pair of dance sneakers for teaching so my feet don’t get sore from hours of teaching in jazz or ballet shoes. It recommended to go up a half size but I did not feel this was needed. I wear a size 9 in sneakers and bought a 9.5. I could have easily bought a 9 and they would have fit perfectly. I have wide feet and the width fit nicely. Arch support is great. They allow for pointing the foot nicely. These are perfect for pirouettes and turns as they allow for less grip than regular tennis shoes. I wore these to perform a finale in our recital and they were so comfortable and function great on a stage. They are canvas so they do get hot if worn for long periods of time. Most dance sneakers are hideous but I chose these as they were not too bulky or flashy, and they look great on! All in all a great dance shoe! My coworker ended up ordering the same pair after trying mine out!

very comfortable for daily wear
These are my second pair. I use them for daily use. I love that I can feel my arch in my shoes which allows me to flex them and be aware of my steps. They are also very elegant, and I can use them for casual work situations. Shoes run quite narrow. I normally wear size 7M to 7.5M but these, I feel more comfortable wearing 8M. I also wear socks that are not very thick but not thin. A bit pricey but they are worth the price.

Love them, buying more, tell all dancers!
I wear a mens size 9 (USA) street shoe; ordered a size 11. They are soft, furry, and fit me like a glove, perfect for Zumba, Hip-Hop, Modern. I plan to buy more for a backup pair and for tap. These are working shoes; consider them as professional dance equipment. If you have not worn split sole dance shoes, there will be some training required to gain proficiency. Most notably there will be some adjustments in balance and muscle tone in the foot and calves. If you cramp up after class, walk and stretch (feet and calves) for at least half hour. This is common for 1'st timers; don't give up! The shoes are tight around the arches -- they need to be for good articulation. If you find difficulty controlling the tightness, try using European lacing. The toes are flattened but maybe not enough to practice pointe (I haven't tried yet). Sparky (Feet First, Joy of Motion, Motion Mania, CoMMotion)

Not for wide feet, runs true to size
I have narrow feet and sized up a half size based on reviews. It seems they run true to size length wise and are very narrow. They are too long for me and snug around the foot. I’m sure if I had bought my actual size they would have worked, but I can’t imagine them fitting someone with wide feet no matter how much you size up. Them being too long prevents them from bending with my foot when I point, it’s just my foot pointing in and empty box and the shoe remains normal on the outside. I’d only recommend this for people with the narrow feet and just order your normal size unless you’re between sizes.

Excellent … conform to foot.
Purchased 1/2 size up since wear with Athletic socks … first day felt a bit “off” … second day better, thereafter perfect … they conformed to very comfortable fit.

These are really comfortable and lightweight on my feet when dancing. I dance a lot of bachata and salsa and needed shoes with less grip to be able to spin properly. Tried these in my dance class and they were perfect for spinning and also gave support to my high instep. Only downside is the tongue on the right shoe digs in a bit on my foot but I can cut it down a bit and this should hopefully prevent it from happening.

I purchased these for line dancing. Good arch support, heel not as high as other jazz shoes. Room in toe box makes shoe very comfortable. Very flexible. I like the quality of these shoes. Very comfortable to dance in and sole allows for ease of turns and spinning without torque on my knees. Great purchase!
