NO Signal Conversion Function - Read the Fine Print
I bought this to try and hook up an older DVD player to a newer TV. It did not work. Not the products fault though, I didn't read the fine print that there is no signal conversion. I did manage to find the right product that worked though: RCA to HDMI Converter, Composite to HDMI Adapter Support

Does not work with older DVD or VCR
I ordered this to use an older VCR. I was unable to get a signal through to the TCL 4K TV. tried an older DVD player and same result, no signal. I think the technology in these new TVs are not backwards compatible. But then TV shows channels not in HD.

This does not appear to be an HDMI to RCA adapter/converter
HDMI out to RCA in: Fail Connectivity: Fail Compatibility: Fail Sound Quality: Fail Ease of use: probably easy, if it worked. Durable: seems durable but it's a moot point given it does not work I tried the cable on multiple HDMI out to RCA inputs and none of them rendered video. RCA to HDMI: works but, again, It is not being sold as RCA at HDMI. Overall: Cable was worthless for me given it does not work as an HDMI to RCA adapter

it did not work. HDMI output from powered splitter (that works) to VCR input. It should have worked but does not. not sure if it is faulty but in reading other reviews a lot of people are having issues, very disappointing

The quality is good and is what I thought I needed and it didnt do what I needed Which was unfortunately not good
