I live in a beautiful old building, and wanted a bird feeder that would match it. No plastic feeders for me, and the metal tubes were too boring; this cute little gazebo is PERFECT! First off, way nicer construction than I expected. It comes fully assembled, but is easy to slip apart to clean. It's made of actual wood pieces (not MDF or patterned plastic), with lightweight acrylic panels for the "windows." Everything slots together beautifully. Secondly, it's sturdy! We've had some bad weather recently, and strong winds (up to 50mph) and atmospheric rivers didn't do any damage! Literally the only issue was some water seeping in down the top knob bit, but easily rectified with some plumbers tape. And finally, it's popular! My neighbors have complimented it, I love it, and I've seen four birds at once feeding from it. Never thought I'd hold strong views on bird feeders, but here we are. Strongest recommendation.

I ordered this product as a gift for my mother because she truly loves her birds. Her last birdfeeder, unfortunately did not stand up to the weather so she asked for a new one like this one for Christmas. When it arrived, it was in beautiful shape, no assembly involved and the wood is a gorgeous stain. It looks like it really will hold up well, and hopefully keep away those pesky squirrels. She really loves it and cannot wait to put it up.

The bird feeder looks nice and is pretty much already assembled in the box. However, it wasn't packaged the best. It was just put inside a box, without any protection around it (ie, foam, bubble wrap), and then shipped. When I went to take the plastic coating/wrap off the individual plastic panels, one of the panels was already broken at the bottom. There are a few slight scratches on the panels as well. But overall, the cedar wood on the bird feeder looks nice.

The feeding areas are to small for the birds to perch on fir any length of time. But they do use t.

The bird feeder arrived in a just a box with no padding and broken. Very disappointed.

Love the look of the feeder, the ease of filling and cleaning. It is very well built and sturdy. Think that it will last a while. I have had it up for a short time (3-4 days) and the only birds that I have seen on it are the smaller size (House Finch and other finches). Will need to search for replacement of large hopper feeder that supported doves, blue jays, and other mid- to larger- birds.

Nice well constructed bit small

I bought this feeder to replace my 8-year old Perky Pet Deluxe Chalet feeder. As you can see from the picture, the Gazebo feeder is smaller and less robust. The Chalet feeder uses 9/16” cedar while the Hexagonal feeder uses thinner 5/16” cedar. Cardinals were the largest birds to feed on the Chalet feeder on a daily basis. I sense however, that they will find the Gazebo feeder too small for their comfort. I still gave this feeder 4 stars because it looks so unique and attractive. However, I do doubt that it will last as long as the Chalet feeder that it will be replacing.
