I love this case! I have been using it since the end of 2023! I just looked it up to try & buy the same one for my newest model. And it said, “Frequently returned item!” So, I thought I would write a review. Great case! Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat! I like that it protects the corners. I like that the back is transparent & you can see the apple logo. It is light weight and effective! Magnetic front that effectively puts iPad to sleep.

The case arrived quickly. It is very light, the back portion of it is clear and hard, which offers good amount of protection to the unit. The cover slip has 3 folding points, it can fold into different configurations to support the screen when needed. It is not bulky, and quite good looking as well.Clips in super easy, and good quality.

It’s a good cover for the iPad. It should be a bit more sturdy as it tends to shift when it’s used as a stand. I do really like that it’s light weight while still protecting the iPad.

This is the third time I’ve purchased this case, and I continue to like it. You really can’t beat it for the price. Same functions (trifold magnetic cover) as the expensive Apple case, and the hard plastic back provides good protection against accidental drops and bangs. I’ve found that it lasts about a year before the vinyl corners and edges start to fray and tear, and the hard plastic corners start to break a bit, and that’s with many hours of daily use. If you’re not constantly using your iPad like I am, I’m sure it will last longer. A year of hard use is great for a cover at this price point though. I’m very happy with making it an annual purchase!

Update: I bought this case in August 2024, it’s now January 5, 2025 and I need to buy a new case. All of the thin plastic edges over the 3 speakers have cracked off - and that was from normal use - just holding it. My iPad also slid off the arm of my chair and felt to the ground - thank goodness my ipad landed on a rug because the case literally just fell off - ZERO protection.Original review: I had to replace my apple "keyboard cover" as it stopped working and I didn't want to pay the price for another one (they only seem to last 2-3 years). I'm used to my keyboard cover being sturdy for holding up my large iPad and for the cover protecting it the few times I've dropped it but I don't have much faith in this new cover.First, it does automatically put my iPad to "sleep" and "awakens" it when I open it BUT if I turn my iPad ever so slightly with the cover closed it just flaps open so I don't believe it will protect it if it should slide off my lap like my apple keyboard cover would.Second, I also have the apple pen that attaches magnetically to the long edge of my iPad but with this cover it is constantly being knocked off when I close the cover because again, the cover does not stay put.Third, I like to use my iPad on my lap with it "standing up". This cover does have to capability to "create" a stand by folding it into a triangle but it's only secure if sitting on a flat surface. If you try to use it on your lap it constantly falls over.I just dropped my iPad off the arm of my chair and the iPad fell completely out - thank goodness it didn’t break! In my past experience the main job of a cover is for protection, this cover protects nothing.I would not recommend this product even by a little bit. Stay clear.

Standard looking case. The back is made of thin hard transparent plastic. My main concern is that it doesn’t look like it offers much of drop protection if the cover is not over the screen. That is because the plastic casing hardly extend above the iPad body and thin hard plastic usually just cracks and is not shock absorbent.It is cheap, so it is expected to be of lesser quality, I would prefer a rubber body but the majority has a pen slot that I don’t want since it adds bulk.
