Mrs. Freshley's Iced Carrot Cake, Indivually Packaged, 3.5 oz | Pack of 8

My family loves these carrot cakes. This brand is the best we have found too. They arrived very fresh. They are good sized cakes too. They are 3.5 ounces. This package came with 8 cakes. We will be buying these again.

The wife and I were so excited waiting for these carrot cake snacks to arrive as we have had them before. I opened the box quickly in anticipation of a delicious treat offering my wife a taste. Immediately a strong, strange smell erupted from the individual open cake packet at that point we should of known something was not right but we proceeded to taste these synthetic extruded snack delicacies before us. Quickly the wife gagged on the gasoline/diesel/roundup fumes emanating from said product then rapidly ejected the stinky, dry crumbles into her hand. At that point I laughed thinking she was just messing around, alas my turn to experience this new phenomena approached and I took a big bite, straight away my tongue recoiled, my nose detected a heavy diesel, petroleum smell that was well, just shocking to say the least. I dared not to swallow this ghastly concoction and so I, like my wife discharged this toxic waste from my mouth with gusto! We both ran upstairs into the bathroom, to wash or mouths out, brushed, flossed our teeth to remove even the smallest residual toxic molecule from our cake holes....utterly disgusting, dry and has the kind of smell that even a rabid possum would would run away from. We do not recommend (even if you are starving and there is nothing else in the world to eat!).....

I love carrot cake and the Mrs. Freshley cakes are pretty good for prepackaged carrot cake. This one is quite good. This brand has consistent quality . They arrived fresh but with some damage as seen in pictures. Overall I will say they taste Delicious and the cake was moist & fresh even if some of these packaged cakes can arrive smushed. I'd still eat them as long as the bags are not popped open in shipping. I guess some sellers may send old or damaged product. I also think you can buy these 3.5 ounces snack cakes at a gas station for cheaper or you could buy an actual single layer carrot cake at a grocery store bakery.

I love these!! Put them in the freezer and enjoy them cold.

Unfortunately, would not buy again. I love carrot cake and the Mrs. Freshley brand, but did not like this batch. Heat & age not sure but this entire batch was bad.

THESE CAKES WERE DELICIOUS. MOIST. PACKAGED WELL. WILL RE-ORDER.
