Basic Sense Cotton Crochet Beret for Women - Lightweight Slouchy Beanie for Hair Loss, Thinning & Scalp Sensitivity - Breathable Open Knit French Style Summer Hat

I’ve been looking for the perfect lightweight autumn/spring beret/ beanie hat for ages, and this is it! Loose enough to keep hair in place without flattening, secure round the forehead but comfy, stays on in the wind, looks good with casual or smart outfits, not too warm. So good I’ve bought them for mum, sister and a friend as well.

This is a great hat and i wanted a red one, as I already have this exact one in black. I have a large head and wool berets just don’t fit : (. This hat has a lovely lightweight feel, and it’s a good fit (whether you wear it on top of your head/forehead, or as I do, sat on the back of the head, with victory rolls at the front). I gambled buying the ‘red’, as it looked a burnt orange shade in the photos and yes, it is burnt orange now that i see it in reality. I still love it though and just hope i can find a true red somewhere (as well as a navy, mustard yellow and a forest green one!). This isn’t for you if you’re looking for a ‘cosy’ hat - it’s warm-ish but not cosy like a closer knitted/crocheted beanie/hat. It’s more for the ‘look’ than for practical warmth for the head area

This is a lovely little hat. I have now ordered one in every colour. I have had some skin grafts on my head and have to wear hats all the time. These are 100 percent cotton, really light and flattering. I have bought loads of hats but these are by far and away my favourite. Probably not the best hat if you want something to keep your head really warm but that is exactly what I like about them. I don't remember I have them on. Would wear them all the time even if I didn't have to.

Easy to wear and can be shoved in a bag or pocket and pulled out anytime which makes it very handy.

Most important for me as many other types including sadly the wool beret itch madly and I cannot bear to wear. So glad to get this wonderful cotton beret - soft and most comfortable - no doubt I will be ordering different colours soon. A real keeper

This is a lovely hat. It's very lightweight, perfect for spring and summer if you have hair loss and need to wear a hat. It looks small, but I have quite a large head and it fits me fine. I'm very happy with the one I ordered and will be getting some more!
