Native Instruments MASCHINE+ Production Workstation

I've owned the Maschine+ for a year now and used it for a couple live gigs. But, have had no issues with it. If things start crashing on your Maschine, it could be due to the limited CPU on the Maschine. Note that you can't treat the Maschine's internal CPU like it is its own DAW. As a singer-songwriter, I thought that that the Maschine+ was going to replace my DAW and would simplify the creation of all of my demos. You can maybe record and playback up to 8 or 9 tracks at a time. With 8 or 9 VSTS running on Maschine at the same time, you will hear heavy distortion, and if you add one more thing, the Maschine will freeze. Just know going into this that it is epic for live performance, you can make outstanding minimalistic demos on this, this piece of gear can go anywhere and is insanely portable, but has its limits and cant be pushed beyond 8 or so beats simultaneously working together. If you purchase on Amazon, you can get an outstanding warranty for purchase, but know that you may not get over $100 in NI plug-ins, which you would get if you purchased on NI's site.

I've always loved music and the idea of making my own. This device, will unleash the creative beast inside of you. You can sample songs, music, sounds, audio from websites, etc. You can sample audio from your cell phone, your tablet, your TV, your microphone, your whatever. You also have the option to download extra expansion packs if you're feeling lazy or uninspired. You can hook it up to your computer and sample anything your computer audio would play... Call of duty gun shots? Pr0n Hub symphonies? Whatever you want, this device lets you record anything and everything, and then sample it back like it was a musical instrument. This device is truly amazing and the fact you can use it without a computer (in stand alone mode) is nuts!! You can be on the beach and be jammin' out to your own beats.. Plug it into speakers and you could be hosting a rave in the middle of nowhere, with no computer. Yes, this thing is dope!! Just make sure to do what these other knucklehead reviewers haven't, download the latest firmware when you turn it on the first time. It should prompt you once you connect to wifi. Purchased 6 months ago and now it is a brick. Known issue with the Maschine freezing at start up screen. Tried the remedy that NI provided by uploading a reboot zip to the original SD card without any luck. NI rep also stated that due to the recent sale there is a backlog of help requests so it may take an unusual amount of time to receive support. Buyer beware. When it worked it was great but this has put me in a serious bind for upcoming performances that relied heavily on this product as the centerpiece to control several synths. All of my work that I have put in is now useless outside of the NI ecosystem. Also consider the financial loss of not just the initial product price but the purchase of several of the expansion kits afterwards that I will never use again without the functionality of the Maschine+. So excited to receive my Music Maschine! There is so much that I can do with it. Can't wait to explore all the possibilities!

I'm glad to have caught a great deal on this, I've been watching for some time. I've had the Studio version for several years, I'm very happy with this standalone

The pads are amazing, unfortunately the interface is a nightmare, will take you hours to figure out extremely basic needs, no user friendly intuitive philosophy here, the sounds are outdated and very old with very few modern good ones. Overall disappointing. No touchscreen makes for a labyrinth to grind through the convoluted interface.

I have been waiting for something like this for awhile A stand alone DAW for production and performance. I find it easy to use with plenty of youtube tutorials out there have fun

I've tried many stand alone sequencers and this one is the best for my desired workflow.

Me gusta el diseño, los sintes que trae, el tacto y sensibilidad de los pads. Tiene la opción de autosampler, lo que te permite samplear cualquier biblioteca de sonidos de NI de tu computadora. Ten en cuenta que no se le puede poner todas las librerías de Kontakt, pero las puedes auto-samplear. Es muy buena para hacer en performance en vivo. Para los que no les funciono, lo que les recomiendo es de inmediato compren la Maschine+ tiren a la basura la tarjeta SD que viene con ella, ES MALA CALIDAD y se sabe en todos los foros, que es la causante de problemas. Actualmente el firmware de 2024 la hace muy estable. Utilicen una tarjeta SD de 256 o 512 GB con características A1 V10 como mínimo. También tengo MPC ONE Y MPCLIVE2, por lo que he probado ambos sistemas, MASCHINE+ Y MPC, ambos son geniales y tienen su línea de dificultad y estilo y fluido para componer. El maschine es mas a lo ableton, componiendo mas por bloques, pudiendo ordenarlos y reordenarlos a tu gusto distintos bloques en la intro, coro, etc. El mpc es mas lineal, primero pensando en los instrumentos y grabando o componiendo uno por uno de forma lineal. El mpc sirve para live performance, pero el Maschine es más versatil en ese sentido. El MPC es mas versatil para diseño de presets de los sintetizadores, mas grafico. Diseñar sonidos con los sintetizadores del Maschine Plus, es posible, pero no es grafico, solo indica niveles y aveces no te dice ni de que, si estas modificando un filtro o que etc, y no lo hace de forma grafica. Te recomiendo ver video de Kelby Kryshak, Asadi Plays: Native Instruments Maschine+, Jay Hosking Soulful jam with the Maschine+ , Red means recording Making Drum and Bass with Maschine + and Tracklib. Para que veas si este estilo de workflow es para ti.

esta maquina tiene muchos problemas, muchas veces se queda trabada la pantalla tratando de iniciar, desde que la compre tuve que actualizar el firmaware pero solo funciono un par de veces y despues paso lo mismo se queda trabada y no inicia. es una lastima es un producto de alta calidad, ya averigue y no soy el unico, hay muchisimos usuarios que se quejan de esto y mas

Actualizacion: Lo compre de nuevo por que me gusta native instruments, pero lamentablemente llego dañado de la esquina, fuera de eso el software sigue prometiendo, maschine 3.0 ya salió pero aun no han actualizado nada para maschine+, es una burla por que ya hay instrumentos para los standalone de akai con sus mpc, pero para maschine+ no, la nueva actualizacion ya se huele pero no hay luces, lo devolvere… ——————-————————————————- Revision anterior: el producto nacio muerto, no tiene soporte de actualizaciones por parte de native instruments, desde hace un año, el cpu es demasiado ineficiente y los sonidos crashean, ademas no se diferencia en nada con un maschine mk3, asi que, sinceramente es solo un gasto inecesario, ademas tuve que devolverlo por que dejo de funcionar, despues de una semana.

Actualice software y todos los grupos y sonidos en cuanto encendio, pero al reiniciarse, se quedo trabada, la reinicie dejando apretado el boton de encendido, lo peor de todo es que el numero de serie para registrarla ya tiene otro usuario, no puede ser, no son 3 pesos lo que se pago por el articulo y que sea usado, en el publicacion dice que es nuevo. Espero que no todos los vendedores hagan esto, es estresante y riesgoso.
