Alpha 7C Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera - Silver (ILCE7C/S)

Edit: I have had this camera for a year now. Turns out I just found out Amazon sold me a grey market import instead of a legitimate camera with U.S. warranty. Amazon didn't disclose it was grey market when I purchased it new from them. Now I'm stuck with a camera that will not be repaired in the U.S. if something goes bad with it. STAY AWAY FROM AMAZON IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON BUYING A CAMERA!! Very compact, but heavy, full frame camera. Image quality is amazing. AF tracking is the best I have used on any other camera. Dynamic Range is stellar! I have large hands, so I had to by a base plate/bracket to allow it to fit more comfortably in my hands. Finding good, fast, compact, full frame lenses for this camera is not easy though. Most fast lenses feel unbalanced on this camera. The viewfinder is small, but not impossible to use. Sometimes this camera takes a few seconds to start up. However, the images you get straight out of the camera are amazing! Overall one of the best Cameras I have ever used!

First off, I’m using if for photos, I don’t do videos and the sensor is, well it’s the same sensor in a7iii, it’s great. The battery life is great as well, has never let me down on a trip. The menus are a mess, because Sony, but once you set the button layout and the custom menu to your liking it’s easily managable. It might just be me, but I like a7c’s build quality better than the a7cii. One of the best cameras on the market for its price if you want a relatively compact camera with great capabilities. I shoot RAW+JPEG’s, if you are good with creating intent, the JPEGs are usable, with the RAWs being perfectly flexible for my uses.

I bought this when it was on sale for $1600, just before the mkii dropped. At that price it is a beast, with very fast and accurate AF, plenty of resolution and nice color and detail. I mostly pair it with Sony 16-35 f/4 PZ lens for a light package, used for commercial street photo and real estate. The menu system is still a version of the old style, but with some streamlined elements. I'm so used to it coming from my A7rII, it works totally fine for me. I have not tried video functions as I use an FX-3 for that. The viewfinder is big enough for me, although using with glasses makes it a bit small. My only quibble is a slightly slow startup time. Overall this camera is a joy to use, so incredibly small and light for full frame.

I love this camera! It's my first Full Frame Camera! I stream here on Amazon everyday and I use this camera plus the Sigma 35mm F1.2 lens as my main face cam for my streams I have lights behind me so the bokeh is just wow! I've used the Sony A7RII but it felt like it didnt have a lot of features this camera has and maybe the Sony A7RII needed to be updated as everything seemed so old with that camera! However I also own the Sony A6600, Sony A6000, and Sony A6100 I use them for my streaming and they're amazing but with my 35mm lens since it's a full frame lens on the cropped sensor cameras it was zooming way into my face with the Sony A7C I get the true 35mm! And it's amazing for streaming it makes face cam look dreamy with the back ground blur and bokeh behind me! I've only used this camera for taking photos once! I live in South Korea and it's winter now so it's too cold to go outside and shoot I took a few photos as you can see, I have Autumn photos of myself but I can't wait until it warms up again so I can take more photos! Cameras very versatile and easy to use. Also with a lot of feature its self I would recommend if your looking for a beginner friendly high end camera.

Bought this not too long ago and I was a Sony Alpha 7R II user. I believe Sony's design vision came out great. I thought back then that A7R2 will be my camera for a while but as I grow as a photographer, I realized that the weight and the AF system were not my taste anymore. I couldn't really go to APS-C because, the 35mm sensor size simply gives honor to film sizes and I respect that. Imagine, a (relatively) smaller form factor, with full-frame image size capability, enough superb resolution (24MP) for current viewing/display technology (and possibly in the coming years later) and competitive color science. All packed in A7C. Not to mention, great battery life. The price could've been cheaper, for all the compromises done. Lesser buttons? Not a big deal; loss of quality of life I suppose. One can always master their gear and be faster in changing settings than anyone else, no matter how less of buttons there are. In note of color science, I shoot RAW so it is irrelevant to me. If I want to better color, I'll work the image in post processing. I'd say Sony Alpha 7C is Excellent for its design! But in the end of the day, only yourself can decide which to purchase; you have to be sure how is it going to be used for anyway.

Picture quality is brilliant, auto focus, and manual features work seamlessly. The included sony battery has incredible performance, especially when it comes to drawn out 4k videography. There is an automated time lapse feature, and for those looking for a solid camera with 3 easy to set manual modes look no further. It's exceeded my expectations.

Es una gran opcion si quieres salir de la gama de entrada de las camaras y entrar a un mundo mas profesional. Si vas a enfocarte en el video por encima de la foto, la recomiendo mucho más que la A7iii.

Great quality and feature packed

La adquirí para utilizarla en eventos sociales (bodas y Xv años) y la verdad me ha encantado. Estoy maravillado con la calidad de imagen, enfoque y materiales que tiene la cámara. La recomiendo bastante ya que aparte, la batería tiene buena duración grabando video.
