Very easy to break.
The design makes it very easy to tip over and break. I have had to replace two in the last 6 months. Quality of light is quite good.

Great For Self Taping!
I went to a class taught at my union by Tim Powell on 3 point lighting and self taping for actors and how to do it on a budget and lights like these are on his recipe. I tried these babies out today and they can even make cell phone recordings look studio professional. I'll be buying more. I'm glad I waited to take Tim Powell's workshop before I started buying lighting and other equipment for my home studio. Just Google him. If you get one of these lights in a 30 Watt (get at least 2), also get a 60 watt. Love these! PROFESSIONAL!

have never had this issue with light bulbs but will make certain to test all light bulbs (especially expensive ones like this) in the future
I bought this as a back up bulb and finally tried using it today, four months after purchase. It is either defective or dead as it does not work and there is no way to get a refund since the 'return window' is closed. Tested it in the other lamp, and still not working (and tried a different bulb to make sure my light wasn't having issues, which was not the case). Have ordered literally thousands of items from Amazon, have never had this issue with light bulbs but will make certain to test all light bulbs (especially expensive ones like this) in the future.

Perfect color-accurate lights
Great lights of a classic sunlight color: perfect for color-accurate photography or, in my case, for cheery lighting of my home. They are brighter than most other bulbs of this wattage that I have tried, and are still going strong after long usage. I love 'em!

They work great I just need to update my work lamps to ones that dont fall over.

Bulb exploded during 1st use.
Purchase the product based upon bulbs that I already had. They're from the same exact company. Just went to do a photoshoot last week. Bulb exploded within 5 minutes of attempting to use it. Purchased three. Scared to death to use the other two now. So sad I did not try them sooner 0r I would of returned all three.
