Tropics Ube Halaya (Purple Yam Jam)

This ube halaya arrived quickly and well sealed, which I really appreciated. The flavor is excellent—rich and authentic, not overly sweet. I used it to make an ube cheesecake, and it came out perfectly with a deep ube flavor that wasn’t artificial or sugary. I also love that the main ingredient is ube, which really shows in the taste and quality. If you’re baking or cooking with ube and want something reliable and delicious, this is a great choice.

This is a great product! I used it to make Ube Crinkle cookies. The cookies turned out moist and soft and just the right amount of sweet. The jar I purchased was the perfect amount for my recipe. I will buy this product again when I want to make the Ube crinkle cookies again in the future.

I like it, don't love it bc i need to know how to use it. I don't want to eat it straight from the jar, which is good too.

Not vacuum sealed. Lid says “Easy Open Cap”. Dented. Leaking. 13 bucks into the trash.

It’s a decent product as described, a bit too sweet for my personal taste but it’s delicious. I’m taking off one star because it’s very difficult to dissolve, especially you are asked to refrigerate after opening, and the ‘jam’ isnt like your usual toast fruit jam, it’s a solid paste. I had to mix it with hot water before I add it to the drinks that I want. Switching to powder

Very happy with this product compared to other brand of Ube Halaya.

This went into my Ube Coconut Macadamia Nut bundt cake. The cake was a gorgeous purple color and tasted as great as it looked. If you haven't tried baking with Ube and Pandan, please do. Play with your food. Put a little purple in your life.
