I waited and waited looking at reviews and specs for months. Finally, I got it and had been so much fun riding with my son. It has been worth it just to listen to his comment on everything he sees. It's also so much fun to see people burst into smiles as they realize that a baby/toddler is waving at them when we pass by. The seat was a bit tough to install if you don't have the right tools but once it was on it feels secure and sturdy. Being able to pop it out when not needed makes this very practical if you commute with your bike and don't always need the child seat. Though great it is not perfect. One issue is that when I peddle I do hit the seat so I have to move my knees to the side which is a bit clumsy. Also depending on your bike, as the child gets bigger it might get harder grab on to the handles without bumping into the child's head. Bikes that allow for a more upright position might not have this issue. Lastly, the weight limit is around 33lbs which depending on your child they are going to exceed when they are anywhere between 26 to 36 months old. So stop waiting and get it as soon as they are able to safely put on a helmet to get the most rides with your little.

But they’re still secure. **Cons:** 1. **Size Limitation:** The seat's size limitation became apparent with my 30-inch-tall child, leaving me wishing for a slightly larger design to accommodate growing toddlers. I realize this is likely a safety issue. So, can’t be too upset. 2. **Plastic Material:** While the lightweight nature is appreciated, the excessive use of plastic might be a downside for those looking for a bit more robustness (or who prefer more eco-friendly materials in their products). 3. **Weight Capacity:** I wish the seat could support a bit more weight and a larger child, potentially limiting its usability as my kids grow. **Overall Impression:** The Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini is a versatile and snug-fitting bike seat that defied expectations by adapting to a non-standard steering axle. Its ease of assembly and use, along with reassuring structural integrity, make it a reliable choice. The front-facing riding experience was fun to witness. However, the size limitations and the significant use of plastic may not suit everyone's preferences. This thing is awesome! My son is petite for his age and fit perfectly in this. He has had such a good time going for rides with his dad. He seems to feel very comfortable in it. Only had an issue adjusting the feet rests, it was very difficult to fit to him and the process seemed to freak him out.

I’ve had this bike seat for about 6 months now. I’ve gotten PLENTY of use and learned a few quirks along the way. First off, I’m a hefty woman. I was worried about how much space this seat would take up, but on my beach cruiser I still have plenty of room in front of me. The seat sits far enough forward that it’s a very comfortable ride. My toddler also loves being up front and seeing everything. If you have a particularly wiggly child, they may be able to throw you off balance since their movement can affect the steering. My biggest annoyance with this product is the key lock to keep the seat in place. I’ve taken the seat off using the key a few times, but then it just stopped working. I put the key in and for the life of me I cannot turn it to unlock. The entire inner part of the lock started sliding out (where you can see the pins inside) so I just shoved it back in and I guess I won’t be taking the seat off anymore. I also find it impractical to need a key for a product like this in the first place. It’s cumbersome to keep track of a key when they should have just made it a built in latch instead. Pretty inconvenient. The material that the seat is made of is basically the same material that bike helmets are made of. It flexes a little and it does feel like you could snap it if you really wanted to, but so far no issues carrying my 25 lb toddler. Overall I like this seat but I don’t not think it’s worth the high price.

Amazing bike seat. Used it with my toddler until he was out of the weight limit. The best thing for me was that it fit in my mountain bike (Trek Fuel EX 8), which was challenging with other bike seats I tried.

My 2 year old fits perfect with more room for growth. I like that the seat locks on the bike so no one can steal it if we go into a store or something. I like having the baby up front. I was worried that it would be hard to steer but it’s easy to steer.

I bought it for my 1 1/2 year old and it works great. I installed in a beach bike and a mountain bike and in both bikes worked great. Easy to attach and detach. Very comfortable and safe for the baby and also for the rider. Totally recommend it and its very enjoyable to have the baby in the front.

Cuando abrí la caja pensé que era muy poca cosa para lo que cuesta, pero después de montarla y probarla estoy bastante contento. Es ligera y muy robusta, fácil de montar, muy cómoda para la niña, los cinturones y su cierre geniales. A mi se me hace un poco incómoda al pedalear, mido 1,83 y tengo que abrir un poco las rodillas, la he montado en una bici gravel con manillar de carretera y para llevar las manos en las manetas tengo que curvar un poco el pecho, si no le voy empujando la cabeza a la niña. En otras bicis donde se lleve una posición más vertical seguramente sea más cómoda. Para pasear y desplazarse por terrenos lisos es genial, en pistas con algo de baches se mantiene muy estable. En trayectos largos o con mucha pendiente, en mi caso, las rodillas sufren un poco por la posición forzada que tengo que llevar.

Ein klasse Kindersitz! Einfache Montage. Der Sitz kann mit einem Schlüssel auch schnell demontiert werden (Und z. B. auf ein anderes Fahrrad mit zweiten Halter montiert werden). Mein Mann hatte genügend Platz an den Beinen zum Fahrradfahren. Bestätigen können wir, dass die Schultergurte nicht auf den Schultern bleiben. Wir haben uns da mit einem Gurthalter beholfen, das hat prima geklappt. Der Sitz hat eine relativ kleine Rückenlehne, sodass keine Ohrlehnen vorhanden sind. Das hat unseren Kleinen aber nicht vom Schlafen abgehalten, da wurde der Kopf dann einfach gegen den Arm von Papa gelehnt 😉 Die Fußrasten können in der Höhe verstellt werden und mit einem Band „fixiert“ werden. Zum Schlafen hat er die aber irgendwie daraus bekommen 😅 In die Speichen können die Füße aber eh auf keinen Fall geraten. Durch die Montage an der Lenkerstange (statt direkt am Lenker) ist das ganze sogar sehr stabil. Hätte gedacht, dass das ganze in etwa so sein würde, wie mit einem Körbchen am Lenker, aber nein! Prima 👍 Wir sind bisher sehr zufrieden und können den Sitz weiterempfehlen.

It was incredibly easy to install. Make sure that you check your bike specs before purchasing because it doesn’t fit on all tubes. My son loves sitting in front and seeing everything clearly. Started him a little earlier than suggested.

Easy to fit, great quality and amazing, easy to use safety straps. Child loves the seat! would recommend.
