The best back pack I've ever owned.
I've been using my 24 hour rush bag for just over 3 months now, just about every single day. I've already used it for a few 2 - 4 day trips as well and it is simply fantastic. I tend to pack light, so it can hold just enough for a simple 3 or 4 day journey. The butterfly pockets on the flap are easily one of my favorite/most frequently used storage features. I use them to keep the the small things that I tend to need to access often: wallet, phone, keys, bubble gum, bicycle computer and so on. The MOLLE webbing is of course extremely useful as well. I ride my bike to school fairly often. I was able to mount my portable bike pump on the webbing (it would get stolen off my bike on campus in half a heartbeat if I left it on there), and I can lace my biking shoes velcro strap and helmet strap through the webbing so I don't have to carry them or try to stuff them inside the pack. I keep extra bike tubes in one of the long side pockets and a rubberized nylon military bag rolled up in the other if I need to carry wet clothes home after swimming. The front pocket is very deep and you can hold a boat load in there. Also the main compartment is very large. I interned at amazon.com over the summer and when my department switched buildings I was able to fit a 19" (4:3 ratio) monitor in the main compartment so I wouldn't have to carry it. The stand stuck out the side, but heck I had a 19" monitor in there! I read another review by a man who said he is 6'2" and it doesn't ride well on him. We all have different body types, but I'm only a quarter or half inch shorter and I have a 48" chest and this pack is extremely comfortable on me. Like I said, we all have different body types. Other small but important features that I feel the need to discuss: The semi-rigid backplate combined with the shoulder yoke system does an excellent job of distributing the weight across your whole back, even with up to 30 or 40 pounds in there it feels waaaay lighter. I broke my L5 vertebrae in half when I was younger, so this is a godsend for me. The camelback system support is of course always loved. The zippers seem to be of extremely high quality (this matters to me because over half of all my previous backpacks met their respective makers when the crappy zippers failed). And of course who could neglect a handle rated for 2,000 pounds of force. It's mostly just a huge part of the cool factor, but hey it could save your life some day. While time will ultimately tell if it stands up to the rigors that have disposed of the other supposed "top quality" bags of my past in an average of less than 2 years, I have very high hopes this one. It is easy to tell from examination that the manufacturing process for this product is top notch. Very strong seams, extremely durable material, and attention to detail in how it is designed to be worn (i.e. the shoulder straps are curved to ergonomically fit the human body and decrease pressure points on the stitching), and overall practicality make me recommend this product with five stars.

Smitten - Best pack I've ever owned
I don't even know where to start with how amazing this pack is. I've looked for a long time for a durable and versatile pack with major organizational potential. After my first week with this bag, I think 5.11 hit a home run. If you're looking for an EDC pack or need an alternative to the GoRuck GR1, look no further. First off, if you love organization you're going to love this pack. The front pocket has so many pockets, I literally don't have enough stuff on a daily basis to even utilize them. Whether I'm using this pack as my mobile office as I do daily, as a bug out bag, or taking it to a future GoRuck event, this pack checks off all the boxes. The main compartment has an additional 4 mesh 4"x11" mesh pockets that I've already used to dry clothes in while out and about. Once again, so many pockets - to the point that I have no reason to use the MOLLE system at all on a daily basis. Secondly, the construction materials 5.11 used throughout the pack is top notch. The 1050D Nylon is the real deal, and I've already tested the main compartment at 110lbs on a light ruck. Albeit, I will eventually replace the structural plastic inlay with something stiffer later on, but otherwise this bag is just nuts as to how well it's made. Zippers are all YKK, which is something that most companies forgo and inevitably destroys the bag as a whole when they break down. Stitching is high quality and you can tell a great amount of detail and effort is put into each one of these bags. The friction pads at the bottom of the back piece is a nice touch - just the right amount to stop the bag from slipping around, but not too much where a jacket or shirt bunches up because of it. The only "con" I'd say that this bag has is with the ports for a hydration bladder. They're punched out of the thick rubber, which creates 4 sharp points. A few simple snips remedied this issue right away, but be forewarned. All in all I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I would happily have paid much more for this pack if I knew of the overall quality upfront. Hats off to 5.11 in pushing for perfection.

This bag is a beast.. the bag material so storong and lots of spaces.. color is Awesome though I would have preferred black . 5 Star to bag now 1 star to Seller: First I order black bag and he delivered me a grey( double tap ) color without telling me .. Moreover he replies the mail of customers selectively and never satisfies customer's queries.

I just love the Rush 24. I use it for work and it gets a fair amount of hammer without complaint. I was impressed that on inspecting it on delivery there wasn't one thread out of place. Seriously, not one thread! I can honestly say this is the best quality product i have, matched only by my 5.11 trousers. The handle feels like it will last forever and the shoulder straps are designed with no weak spots, all very robust. The admin pouch is great for what it says, separating papers and pens and admin from the rest of the pack. There are hidden pockets and in all it makes for a mini office. I wouldn't use it for fellwalking as it is a bit heavy and there's no waist strap but i didn't buy it for that. All the zips are strong and can be padlocked together if needed. I'm told you can fit in laptops etc but beware there is no built in padding on the bottom but that's not hard to sort out if you want. If you are looking at this pack I would say buy it. I call it my 'bag for life', because that's how long i think it will last! Pity I can only give 5 stars.
