An excellent sampler of incredible Darjeelings
The Bottom Line: Vahdam makes some incredible teas, and Darjeeling is their specialty. I thoroughly enjoyed every tea in the sampler and bought many more teas from Vahdam. This sampler is an excellent way to figure out what you'll like. I tried all 10 teas in this sampler, and here are the results of the taste test. Darjeeling Spring - Opening the bag, the smell is incredible. The tea is very light, strong delicate spicy flavors, very aromatic. Slightly herbal like a green/white tea. Has a slight spice flavor - very warming. Light body with delicious delicate flavors. Excellent. Darjeeling Daily Summer - The tea leaves smell incredible fresh out of the bag. Tea is medium, some roast flavors, very aromatic with herbal aromas. A very interesting medium roast with light muscatel spice. Very slight herbal oolong flavors. Darker and stronger than the Darjeeling Spring. Darjeeling Muscatel Imperial - I slightly overstepped this and it is overly bitter. Has a great darjeeling flavor, similar to previous ones. The tea leaves smelled great with a sweet wine grape aroma. Second brew was much better with some light muscatel grape flavors. Very smooth. Good flavors, and everything goes together well. Darker and stronger than the others, the closest to a breakfast tea. Steep this one for less time because it was the only one that got bitter. Darjeeling Spring Gold - Greenish leaves, quite light color tea, nearly green tea color. Has a very nice aroma of medium herbal floral notes. Taste has some rose buds, delicate flowers, slight sweetness. A very good light tea. Second infusion is similarly light and delicate, with slight papery bitterness of Darjeeling. Better than Darjeeling spring, but lighter and more floral. Castleton Premium Spring Darjeeling - Best yet. Lots of great flavors, nothing off-putting. Family members liked it a lot and raves about it. Good medium weight easy drinker. Second and third infusions are solidly pleasant. I picked up a full bag. My favorite spring Darjeeling of the sampler. Okayti Premium Spring Darjeeling - Solid, good flavors, very mellow. Medium color and weight. Has a slight tongue coating property. Less herbal/floral than other versions, more earthy instead. Overly mellow - needs more flavors to be a stand out. Delicious, but the others are even better. Giddhapur Spring Darjeeling - The lightest, most green tea-like so far, somewhere between oolong and green tea. Has some nice floral aromas. Has that distinct vegetal green tea flavor, but much more subdued than a typical green tea. Nice darjeeling flavors blended in. It really is quite pleasant - an excellent light, delicate tea. High Mountain Darjeeling Oolong - Wow this one packs a punch of exotic aromas and flavors. Darker and more flavorful than the spring Darjeelings without the green half-baked flavors that sometimes come with Oolong. The grape muscatel is present with a supporting cast of floral and fruit flavors. Has a uniquely smooth flavor that comes from the oolong process. Very good. Masala Chai - I generally don’t like chai teas, but this is easily the best I’ve had. The spices are distinct, well blended, and complement the tea flavors. I really enjoyed it. An excellent Christmas tea. Pearl White - Very light, almost clear. Extremely delicate aroma and flavor that is very pleasant. I drank the entire pot without realizing it. Very delicious.

Flavorful samples and a great tea sampler. Definitely worth it for the price.
Ordered this sampler a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. All of them are strong in flavor and the aromas are nice. I was surprised that some of the teas came in rolled up balls, but I didn't notice any difference in quality vs a local loose leaf tea that I bought. I generally like black teas and this was a great way to try different types of chai. The flavor is strong enough that you can resteep for a second cup and get a slightly less flavorful cup of tea. If you're on your last tea leaves for a specific sampler, that may be a good idea for you. My favorites were the original chai, earl grey, saffron, assam, and the cardamom. The fennel and turmeric I didn't like as much, but my friend did so she had no problem finishing them. I liked the rest of the flavors, also, and I have yet to try the Kashmiri Kahwa but I bet it will be great. This is a great gift for tea lovers or people who want to try different chai flavors. For what you get, the price is worth it. I plan on ordering the earl grey chai again. Pros: - Strong and deep flavor - Smooth - Nice aroma - Great variety - Good sampler to start with and be exposed to flavors - Very fast shipping - Tea came in a large sealed bag, with smaller sealed bags containing the separate teas. It kept the tea leaves nicely. - Each tea envelope had instructions on how much to add, how long, and what temperature water to use. It's nice because I'm fairly new to steeping loose leaf teas. Cons: - On the pricier end but worth it - If you really enjoy the tea you'll go through the samplers fast Make sure you like strong teas before you order this, or you may not like this sampler as much (if you like weaker teas it's better to go for their other samplers).

High quality green tea sample set! ✨
I drink 2-4 cups of green tea every single day, so I go through a lot of them and love trying out new flavors. I got this set for myself but this is definitely a great gift set for any occasion and tea lover! The packaging is very appealing. You get ten different green teas to try out and the size of each pack is pretty generous, so for the price this is good value for money. I love that it clearly shows the caffeine strength on each pack. You can tell this is high quality tea based on the great flavors, the texture and amazing smell. My personal favorites are “mint melody” and the vanilla matcha. Would definitely recommend and will be repurchasing!

A lot of variety! Easy to use.
I wanted to try a variety of green teas. This sampler allowed me to do just that! Some were a little to strong on the other flavors like mint, ginger or especially the vanilla. But most were pretty nice and some even delightful! Worth getting if you want to sample flavors and find what works for YOUR taste buds.

Beautiful fragrance, clean taste and honeyed finish - plus a FUN sampler set to try out
WOW, I'm just LOVING this Darjeeling tea sampler set! It's a very generous selection of all kinds of Darjeeling teas: first flush, second flush, black, oolong, green - all of the Darjeeling variety. Some of the teas are better for a late afternoon cup; more robust ones are my morning pick. Each sampler pouch makes 2-3 full pots of tea. I also keep Vadham muscatel tea on hand for breakfast, and their chai tea with cardamom is TIP-TOP for late afternoon or even in the middle of the night! This tea selection can actually help a tea drinker find the best brew for their palate. I find all the Vadham teas I've bought at Amazon to have a beautiful nose with incredibly CLEAN, honeyed finish. They are not like store-bought Indian tea that comes packaged in large boxes with a harvest date of a year or two old! Also, there is very little if any tea "dust" when I put a couple teaspoons into the tea caddy. I typically rinse any tea under hot water for 10 seconds to wash off the "dust" before brewing. These Vadham teas have so little tea "dust" that it speaks volumes for the care in packing and shipping. You are truly getting premium tea leaves that have been recently picked and shipped with care. I am eager to share this Darjeeling sampler with my family when they come to visit next week. We are all avid Darjeeling tea drinkers, and I will be curious to know which one(s) they prefer, cuz I'll likely follow that up with a gift order of Vadham teas!

and I love it's uniqueness
This is my first time to try Oolong Tea, and I love it's uniqueness, it's full bodied, strong, yet smooth, taste with a flowery honey aroma, but not sweet, and just not overly anything. I tried it straight, unsweetened, and then with a bit of honey, which made the flavor even better. This too is unique, since as much as I like the regular common Orange Pekoe Tea to drink as ice tea, I don't like the taste when I add honey to it, as the honey ruins the taste. But, not in this Oolong Tea. Honey compliments it, and it is perfect as an ICE tea, and seems clear that there are any of many teas that would also compliment it, with out the Oolong Tea overpowering another tea, or vica-versa. It has a neutral type of taste, if that makes sense, allowing any sweetener, or other tea, that one may like to compliment it. All this means is that it's my new tea I can drink a lot of through out the day, which is good news for me since I bought it for it's health and weight loss benefits. I don't really know how else to describe this tea. It's just very unique in the way that cannot exactly be compared to any other tea I've tried. And, this company is exceptional also. The loose tea came in a pretty emerald green bag that all the air had been removed from, it looked like a square green brick, and with another emerald green nice bag to pour it all into that keeps tightly sealed (when not in use.) I'm looking forward to reaping the benefits.

Very Difficult to Re-seal
These things are very difficult to open without using a scissor. Then you can’t reseal them. Also, I wasn’t really impressed with the flavors.
