This thing is fun! We purchased it to prank some one. I live in Florida and everyone that visits thinks they will get eaten by a gator. It worked great. Super fun to play with.

Great lil boat... Definitely need to specify/advertise that this will not work unless it's on the water... You're gonna have a lot of returns due to this... I didn't figure this out until after I received the replacement, and I only figured it out due to reading other people's reviews

Detail of the head looks amazing - especially the eyes. A little small, but that’s ok. The boat part seemed decent, but was concerned that there was no way to grease the stuff boxes (they must be well sealed, tho - did not see any water intrusion after one use). The remote is not proportional, and there is no way to trim the vessel. More annoying was that while one shaft ran nice and quiet the other was quite noisy - kinda ruined the surprise effect. That all said, why I can’t recommend this product: Trying to charge the batteries I had a hard time finding a USB adapter that the charger fit into. When I finally did, and tried to unplug it, the USB shield broke off. Then, after the first ‘voyage’ (successful other than the above), when I removed the ‘head’ from the ‘boat’, the latch from the battery compartment broke off, rendering the boat useless. I had so much hope for this product, but unfortunately I will have to return this item (or toss it in the trash).

Works as described. Looks pretty good. Did not have enough power to overcome slow current. Might work better in a lake.

I really wanted to love this. It is super realistic (much better looking than the cheap plastic ones) and I like that came with backup batteries. Unfortunately, ours had the controls reversed from what the instructions explained, making it difficult to maneuver in water.

It took me a while to get everything working at the same time, but it was worth the many attempts once I finally got it working. The battery does not come pre-charged and the remote will run down the batteries pretty fast if it is not turned off. Once it was working, I tried out in the bathtub (see video) and I was super impressed with the power the little propellers provide. Make sure to tighten the propellers before you put it in the water because they fell off on our first try. It didn’t take long for me to master forwards, backwards, and turning. I can’t wait to use this in my neighborhood pond and scare some people. Lol. Overall, very glad I purchased this. It would be an awesome gift for a anyone from pre-teen to adult.

I bought this RC alligator head as a birthday gift, and it was a big hit! The remote control works perfectly, and it's a fun and unique toy. It floats well on water, making it great for lake or pool play. The detail on the alligator head is impressive—it looks realistic, and it's a perfect prank gift as well. The rechargeable battery is a convenient bonus. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for something fun and different!

It is solid built. The alligator head is hard and heavy plastic, nothing flimsy. Very easy to control as it has two motors and two propellers. Each stick on the remote controls one of them. So you can even make sharp turns by moving one forward and the other backward. I love that it came with 2 batteries and spare propellers. I don't know if it was luck or it has a sensor but my device paired with the remote after I put it in the water. So if you have problem pairing just try it in a bathtub or something.
