Kuretake ZIG BRUSH PEN WHITE Ultra Fine, great for highlights in illustration...

I bought several white brush pens from a handful of well known art supply manufacturer to try them against each other to see how they worked. The Kuretake worked greed and still does! The one I expected the most from, W & N, did not fair so well. The ink did not flow smoothly, sometimes it did not flow at all and the “bladder” that held the ink ultimately broke. Blew! I had white ink everywhere! The Kuretake, though, worked perfectly! It flowed when I laid the British to paper and did NOT drip or leak while waiting its turn for use. The truth is, I won’t try a different brand again as this is the clear winner! I love it!

Ink flow is adjustable. There is a little dial on the end to adjust the amount of paint. Smooth application. Size is on the smaller side but easy to use. Kuratake paints are so vibrant and I do use their paints for my watercolor art. I use this white paint pen on my art and it is perfect for highlighting and outlining effects. Good quality and great value for price, which I feel Kuratake is always on point with their products!

It makes a wonderful white brushed on effect, but much like paint on a brush, it needs to be wiped off after use so the medium doesn’t dry on the bristles.

I love this pen: It's better than any gel pen I've purchased. I can control the flow of ink with a twist of the top. It doesn't dry out, It writes on top of all of my paints & doesn't smear.... It is expensive, however in comparison to gel pens, it lasts until it is empty and keeps writing. It is also good for using with stencils. Does nice fine detailing....

The directions said to click 5 times to get the ink flowing, but it was more like 15 clicks. The pen works well and is a bright white color.

I have numerous other Kuretake Zig brush pens and I thought this would be of the same quality. Instead it is like working with the consistency of dried white out but generally without the opaqueness. I can’t get paint to the tip to be able to produce fine lines no matter what I do. I have another Kuretake Zig white brush pen that is larger and I can produce fine lines with it without a problem. I just received this today and after reading some other reviews it appears that these problems aren’t unique to me. I would not recommend this pen.

This is pretty good except for it being really use up quickly and it doesn’t have a refill which is something I feel very disappointed abt. Since it wouldn’t be really like a good deal if I have to buy a pen every time I use it up. But the use of it is pretty smooth

Bought this for highlighting eyes on pencil drawings and also for drawing in whiskers and it works. It’s nice and bright and flows well

الحبر ثقيل بشكل كافي لكن سلاسة جريان الحبر فاشلة! لأن الفرشة تنشف بعد الاستخدام يجف الحبر الي عليها وتتأثر جودة الخط .. يمشي الحال في الرسم اثناء التنقل لكن غيره. ما انصح به فرشة وقارورة حبر ابيض اعتبرها خيار أفضل
