Works like a charm

Solid CPU exactly what I ordered I'm sure others say it too but it didn't come in the original packaging as the seller themselves state.

Unfortunately, the one I received was DOA. This is not, however, a reflection on the product itself. There can be many reasons for any electronics to arrive DOA. Th return policy solved the problem just fine. I've had a couple, and they remain some of the more rugged and versatile CPUs of their generation. They are still a solid mid-level gaming and multimedia Processor even today running windows 7 to windows 10. It runs WOW, Minecraft, and Roblocks just fine as well as pushing both audio and video fine. There is good reason that this CPU remained at the top of the gamers list for over 5 years after its release and remained solid for a decade. Helpful fact for electronics. 10% Doa or failure is considered acceptable losses for most manufacturers. This is why return policies exist. So, getting a bad one, though inconvenient? Is not a total sign of a bad product. you have 1 in 10 odds. Return for a replacement. If the second one fails as well, you might shop for something else.

This thing gave me a decent boost in performance over my i5 6600K. Thanks to the seller but unfortunately the CPU popped out of its plastic case during transit. Thankfully it still works due to it being an LGA socket cpu. Had this been an AMD processor I would have had an issue more than likely.

It says new in box but this sure as heck doesn't look like manufacturer packaging. I'm not necessarily opposed to aftermarket stuff, but I don't trust anything that isn't upfront and honest about it.

Ich habe den Intel i7-6700K ohne mir Gedanken zu machen für meinen Build ausgewählt und haben ihn schon nach der ersten Woche lieben gelernt. Ich habe an diesem Prozessor wirklich nichts auszusetzen, außer vielleicht am Preis, aber da Intel den Markt zu Recht dominiert stört mich das nicht wirklich und ich möchte nur kurz auf die positiven Eigenschaften des 6700K zu sprechen kommen. 1. Die Hitzeentwicklung ist minimal! Selbst mit einem billigen Luftkühler sind die Temperaturen bei normaler Last echt annehmbar ca 45°C. Ich vewende eine Wasserkühlung von Arctic (2*120mm) und bin bei normaler Last (Gaming ;-)) bei 25°C (Anmerkung Prozessor läuft stabil auf 1,2V ohne OC) 2. Übertaktungspotentzial ist vorhanden und die meisten Prozessoren können auch ziemlich sicher auf 4,5 Ghz getaktet werden ohne die Spannung zu erhöhen. 3.DDR4 kann endlich genutz werden! 4. Verbesserte Schutzmechanismen von Intel die verhindern, dass der Prozessor zu heiß wird oder durch zu hohe Spannung frittiert wird, also an alle Neulinge keine Angst so schnell kann man den nicht killen, der schaltet sich vorher selbst ab. 5.Schnell beim Rendern etc. und packt auch CPU intensive MMO/RPGs. Für Enthusiasten kann ich den echt empfehlen, natürlich gibts da welche mit mehr Leistung aber für den Preis echt klasse. Eine Sache will ich noch loswerden, an alle die den Prozessor in die relative neuen ASUS Mobos einbauen wollen VORSICHT die fahren standardmäßig mit 1,4 Volt drauf (keine Ahnung warum ) und das endet dann nach ein paar Monaten übel (ich weiß wovon ich spreche :().

Definitely speedy and a great compliment to 3000mhz RAM. I have it running cool under a corsair hydro h100i v2. Temps on idle sit between 23-28°c and it hardly goes above 40°c on load. Overclocking with X.M.P is a walk in the park. Had no issues setting RAM clock speed to 3000mhz and Intel turbo boost sets the cpu core clock around 4.2ghz. If you're looking to buy for gaming I'd reccommend this over x99 and it doesn't hurt your wallet as much, this CPU is actually faster than the 5820k despite the latter having more cores, the 6700k has better single core preformance (watch linustechtips as they're great for advice on this sort of stuff). Delivery was effecient and it was packed safely. And if you're wondering no it does not come with a stock cooler, those are an insult to this beast of a cpu, a hyper 212 evo (be careful with this, i had trouble installing on my asus viii ranger where it bent the pins because the cooler would not sit evenly for some reason) the corsair hydro h100i v2 (an amazing aio liquid cooler) or Noctua's NH D-15 all will do well to keep this monster cool. All in all this is a top of the range cpu for an okay price.

It burnt my main board

Déjà pour le prix il aurait pu faire un meilleur emballage. Et au moins mettre un peu de pate thermique. Parlons un peu du produit. Déjà il ne chauffe pas et cela me convient trés bien. Il monte entre 55° et 60° donc pour vous dire que c'est vraiment peu. En plus j'ai pas la bonne pate thermique car c'est du lepa et elle et pas top. Donc quand j'aurait l'artic silver 5 je pense vraiment gagner et passer sous les 60° sans souci. Car beaucoup de monde néglige la pate thermique mais c'est ce qu'il ya de plus important sur un processeur ou un processeur graphique. Apres niveau performance c'est le top. Il va vite, ne bug pas donc tout va bien dans le meilleur des monde. Je ne l'ai pas oc pour l'instant car y'en na vraiment pas besoin. Donc je recommande au prochain acheteurs.
