Exactly what my son needed to prepare the tests for his pilot’s license.

I've used other plotters... sorely miss the original ones that came with my KingSchools ground school kit, but this one gets the job done with no complications. No fancy inner-ring outer-ring nonsense, just line up with North, rotate the plotter to your desired course, and get cracking on that NAV LOG. It's great for diversions & anything related to the regular sectional charts. Sadly WAC charts are no longer available in print (this plotter has a scale for them) as they were superb for long-range flight planning.

Good quality standard size plotter. Easy to see and rotatable compass rose makes seeing courses a snap. Good price better than most of the pilot shops.

There are 2 spots on the rotating disk where the printing has already come off. Using this to study for my FAA written test. I mean, really once you are licensed you probably will never use paper charts again as Garmin Pilot and ForeFlight do this too well.

Easy to read for calculating especially for new pilots.

Hard to find at your Walmart, would recommend. Mine came exactly as shown here.
