Sturdy, adaptable, great for differently abled
We are really enjoying this book holder! We've tried several others and landed on this one. The only negative is the little rubber caps on the tip of the metal spring holders don't stay on very well but that's a very slight problem. We use this to hold heavy children's board books. Our disabled son can only use one hand so this way it holds the books open while he is able to turn the pages on his own. So far it's a great product and we have used it for a couple of months!

Stands the test of time
I've been using my stand for a year or more now and I love it. The little devices that hold down the pages for me are so helpful. I highly recommend this product.

Good quality!
I like how it can hold the heavy book and it can also rotate in 360°. It is also looks nice!

Wobbles, but otherwise works well
Holds even heavy books, although my "Complete works of Shakespeare" only fits decently if you're reading in the middle of the book. (The page holders bend outward to accommodate the thickness, so it does work, but it doesn't work well.) I've used it on large and small books, and it works even on books that don't open very easily. The page holders only rotate and do not flip away, so you don't have the option to use the stand without them. They don't reach the buttons on my Chromebook, but this may cause issues with some smaller devices like medium or large tablets, as the tips of the page holders stay in pretty much the same place all the time regardless of how they are rotated. (They do move a little thanks to the springs, which is helpful when reading the text behind them.) Use care when turning pages. Often I will leave one or two pages out of the page holders if I need to flip back and forth frequently, as this can be fairly time-consuming. The folding hinges are sturdy - can't adjust height or angle with one hand, but also doesn't collapse on its own. Rotation is very easy but makes a clicking noise. The stand does wobble, but I mostly noticed when using very heavy books or when using it to hold a notebook while I wrote in it. When writing, I used my free hand to stabilize the stand, and it worked tolerably but wasn't ideal (partly because my wrist often rested on the ledge or the page holders).

It adapts to any position...very practical
I've wanted something like this for a long time and I found it. It makes reading easier and avoids body positions that hurt us.

Awesome!
I just received mine and it is wonderful, does exactly what you wanted. I read a lot while sitting in my recliner and even though I put my iPad on a pillow on my lap I was still bending my neck over to read. I can put this in my lap and it holds my iPad at eye level. I was surprised by its weight and how sturdy it is built. This is a great buy!!!

Good so far.
So far it's good. I use it to hold instruction booklets for scale models. They come in many sizes so it's good to have a large size stand. Adjusting it easy. I've only done it once though. The clips have held up well over the past few months. That was a big concern.

Too tight that the top board broke off when trying to adjust
I actually really like this book stand because it’s portable. But it was too rigid and firm when trying to raise or lower the book stand that you can see my photos as a result of doing this frequently. The top broke off from the screws holding it. If you end up buying this product, I recommend being careful whenever you raise or lower the stand. It’s a bummer this broke because I enjoyed taking it wherever I read!
