I couldn't be happier with my purchase of these GORGEOUS heart shaped stones. The stone is beautifully hand-carved from Himalayan salt and has a lovely pink hue. Using the stone for massage therapy has been a wonderful experience & has great health benefits. After heating them up, it helps to reduce stress and tension while also loosening sore muscles & exfoliating the skin. I usually use these stones for my scrubless body wrap treatment as far of the protocol. These can be used wet as a deodorant bar or with salt and sugar scrubs as well. Each stone is sized nicely, making them a good size for most areas of the body and easy to hold in the palms of your hands. I also love that the product comes in a pack of 6, giving me extras to use or to share with friends and family. I've already given a few as gifts! Overall, I highly recommend the Pure Himalayan Salt Works heart massage stone for anyone looking for a high-quality, natural way to promote relaxation and release muscle tension as well as adding an exfoliating effect to the service.

The salt massage stones are wonderful. I have purchased both the heart shape and the bar shape, that’s somewhat the size of a small bar of soap. In using them for massage the heart shape is nice, however they’re really a little on the small size, to hold in your hand and massage with, while the soap bar shaped one is actually easier to maneuver. Before purchasing I had imagined that the heart shaped stones would be the easier one to work with yet in actuality they are not … as you’re holding them your hand your fingertips are in the way of using them in the massage … you kind of have to hold them by the edge. whereas the soap shaped salt stone really fits better in the palm of your hand and you can glide while you massage and work much more efficiently. You can always take a little bit of sandpaper and gently sand the corners of the bar shape stones if you wanted to, they sand very easily . I lay these on a dry towel and put them into the microwave and I have also put them in the microwave in a silicone bread pan and just lined the salt stones up inside of the silicone pan and then put them in the microwave…both ways work absolutely wonderfully. Be aware that The salt stones do not all heat up at the same rate, so put them in for a few seconds at a time and check them every few seconds, it won’t take long to heat them all up, for some reason they do not heat up at the same rate … some will get hotter faster, so be careful with that. I think these stones are absolutely wonderful and I think it’s a really good price, they’re packaged well and they’re just really wonderful to massage with. *Also I purchased the Benefect Devon 30 disinfectant product in the gallon size to disinfect the salt stones with I spray them all over, lay them on a clean towel, let them sit there only for a few minutes and then I completely dry them off and keep them clean for the next use. I highly recommend the Himalayan salt stones and the benefect Decon 30 for disinfecting. All great purchases and I will buy the soap shaped salt stones and the Benefect Devon 30 again.

These are OK. Cute design but the rounding actually reduces the heat transfer. It takes long for them to heat up and they lose heat rapidly.

Lov these! Got to use in facial + body massages, as a Holistic Medical Aesthetician. I set them in my lighted/warming Himalayan salt bowl, but can be put into the hot towel cabbie too, to warm them prior to use. Use a good, non-comedogenic oil or serum for glide. Great for going down the back. Recommend for anyone looking for these.
