Heirloom Climbing Roses, Live Own Root Plant for Outdoor Garden, CL Iceberg, Moderately Fragrant, Hardiness Zones 5-10, Continual Blooming

I’m editing my review of this rose along with others from a year ago as I didn’t give heirloom roses the proper credit due to my naivety about roses, being a newer rose grower at the time. What I thought was a diseased rose at arrival was actually reddening due to cold dormancy- something we don’t see here a lot in Texas. As always, this rose from heirloom arrived happy and healthy, woke up quickly, & took off with vigorous growth. This is a beautiful rose variety as well and one of my favorites- big beautiful blooms with a light pleasing fragrance

The rose plants arrived in June. They were well-packed and healthy, mostly stripped of leaves but green and strong. Within a month, the plants were well established and showed visible growth up the sides of the arbor. We didn't expect blossoms the first year but were pleasantly surprised to have numerous flowers during the summer. The roses were pure white at the outset, although by October they became slightly pink in the center. The plants are hardy and look like they will last through the winter. We'll report back in the spring.

The rose plant came in very good condition now I hope I can get some flowers would be awesome.

I ordered this rose in March of 2025. I’m leaving this review one year later. I am absolutely thrilled with this rose. The blooms are much bigger than I expected. They’re a creamy color with pink/peach centers. I planted the rose on the side of our house and I’ve worked it around the corner to grow up and around our entry. The bush is approximately 3-3.5 ft long right now. I can’t wait to see how it grows the rest of the spring. Best part—- zero thorns. I’ve planted thornless roses before that still have many and that’s what I expected. This plant has none. Amazing. I’ve read that climbers need to be trained horizontally so that growth hormone settles on the stems and encourages growth over the entire bush, so that’s what I plan to do. I’ll report back and update this review as it grows.

I love this rose!! Planted this year and it is already 10' tall, large stems, a very happy customer!

This my fourth purchase from Heirloom Roses. The other three I bought last year. They are still healthy this year. Always nice healthy plants. Will buy again.
