Trigger Point Stimulator Tool - Electric Current Sensation with No Needles No Battery

Works surprisingly well to stop the itch on my thumb knuckle, where 8 years ago I was doing yard work barehanded and got a juniper thorn imbedded in my thumb. It's like the tiny thorn dug deeper and never came out. Itched for years. Asked the dermatologist to freeze the spot like a wart, hoping the big blister would remove the damaged tissue and grow back as clean healthy tissue. He declined and prescribed lotion/ointment instead which was a waste of time and money. But this device desensitized the thumb and in one day the itch dissipated 90% and has remained that low for over two months. I was told that the device neutralizes toxins in the tissue. But I disagree. I suspect that the static shock is desensitizing the nerves, and that's alright with me. I have experienced zero adverse side effects. I will also try it to desensitize ant bites, mosquito bites, and bee stings. Call me a hopeful fan.

Love this! It works great on trigger points! My client now ask for me to use it regularly. Especially my frail clients that can't handle deep tissue work. I use it on myself as well and it really helps. Possibly even more so than my Trigger Point injections.

I like the idea of it, but the center pin keeps coming loose and therefore it doesn’t give the desired electric charge at the point of contact on a regular basis

This device helped me a lot. I had several myofascial trigger points that would improve for several hours with theracane and lacrosse ball for self deep tissue massage. My shoulder was also getting a trigger point inj by a physician that would give 2 months relief. This went on for nearly 10 years. A couple of weeks after using this once or twice a day, with immediate relief lasting 24 hours or so led to near resolution of the pain. It did open up a few other trigger points nearby but I just self-treated those as they appeared. This device uses the piezoelectric effect to generate a small electrical current when you press the plunger....I suspect that that charge (which essentially painless) stuns the tissue and it relaxes....eventually returning to its normally relaxed state. I typically would use is several times on one area and additional areas surrounding the trigger point. I doubt it works for nerve pain or joint pain as some have also posted. Accupuncture needeling and physician injections work in a similar principle to short circuit the contraction and lead to eventual relaxation of the local trigger point.

Broke after a few uses

This is a great product. It's a good alternative to accupuncture in my opinion. It actually does work. It's well made and worth the money. Update: I retract my review. The item has already begun malfunctioning after light usage. One star!

I can't say enough about this item, as I own several of them. It is my go-to item for body pain before I ever think about taking something for pain. This item really works. Love it! I've also given it to family members as presents, and they've told me it's one of the best gifts they have ever received.
