Neosporin brand is the brand we use in our home for small injuries and it works well. So, when I found the lip balm I had to try it. I bite my lips sometimes or pull skin off when they're dry and both can create open sores. I've also used the neosporin ointment (for injuries) on my lips in winter, at bedtime, when nothing else will heal up overly dry lips. This lip balm is non greasy. It moisturizes very well, though I only mostly use it at night. Daytime use, it stays on very well, but like all lip creams it wipes off the more you eat & drink. Softens my lips better than my name-brand sticks and creates a barrier against drying out. It heals any boo-boos on my lips better than the ointment. It usually heals it completely overnight. There is ZERO taste, zero smell, zero greasiness. Feels wonderful. It's white in the container and doesn't look white on my lips, providing it's a thin application. When I use a thick layer it does show on my lips, but it's a clear, white color and looks fine. Very good price, no more expensive than the sticks. Excellent, healing lip balm.

My lips were so chapped that they were bleeding. I tried Medex, Aquaphor, Vaseline, Chapstick and numerous other products to help my lips. Nothing worked until I tried Neosporin Lip. I'm not getting a comp of any kind for this review. It just helped me so much that I want people to know how good it is. It's creamy and just melts into your lips. After one day there was improvement. After 2 days it was almost healed. After 3 days I was back to normal. I tried all those other products for about 2 weeks. This is the product that actually worked. It's not greasy or sticky.

I’ve been using this for years and still swear by it. When my lips get really dry or start cracking, this is the only thing that actually fixes it. I usually put it on before bed and by morning my lips feel way better. It’s thick but not sticky, and a little goes a long way. I used to love the daytime version too before they discontinued it (not sure if they ever brought it back). Either way, the overnight one has never let me down. Definitely one of those products I keep buying.

I almost did not stick with this product. My lips, due to a reaction of something, became itchy with watery small bumps including my lips swelling in the mornings and being constantly dry. I have scanned through this item when finding something to heal my lips but I did not think this would work for my severe reaction. Cheilitis, I think is what closely relates to what I had. IMPORTANT when I ended up choosing this as like the last resort, I put it on my lips and within half an hour to an hour it dried up. So I kept applying. I thought this would not work for me. Like how is this supposed to last all night 😦. Previously I have been using vaseline from the tub on my lips because Chapsticks would not work. So what I ended up doing for weeks was applying this with vaseline on top of the neosporin at night and If I can during the day and that is what helped my lips heal. Vaseline itself was not the best to moisturize lips on it own but that was the best I can find that caused no irritation until I found aquaphor lip therapy. When I started the aquaphor the bumps had already went away but lips felt really dry. It was weird my lips were not scaly it felt like the layer below was dry even though the top layer looks so smooth and moisturized. So I used the neosporin and vaseline (this combination allows the moisture to last all night) at night and aquaphor during the day. I tried aquaphor and neosporin together but I noticed the a few bumps appeared so I just stuck with the vaseline on top the neosporin at night. So now when I used the neosporin I do not need the vaseline because the neosporin last all night. I guess my lips were so damaged and was in desperate need of deep moisture. I hope this information helps if this product did not work for you at first. It has also been a month and a half and I am still using neosporin every night (which is safe to use as long as needed according to neosporin company when I contacted them). I continue using aquaphor during the day and that dry feeling I get is slowly getting better but I can tell the difference. I am still on my first jar. I probly used 1/3 or almost half. Lips are white when using this but it is no problem for me becuase it is doing its job.

This stuff is magic! I am a frequent lip biter and my lips are constantly chapped or peeling. I thought this product would be Vaseline like, but it is almost a cream that just melts into your lips, working instantly. I love this stuff and definetly recommend

This stuff is a lifesaver if you have dry chapped lips. I purchased this to help when I had an episode of super dry chapped lips. Not only did it help bur feels so wonderful on my lips. I keep buying it because its so wonderful

Can sometimes leave a white paste, but otherwise feels very moisturizing. Soothes any lip irritation and can last for some hours. Love the mini size
