Excellent product
Recently had ankle surgery and have to wear a walking boot. This shoe lift works amazing to get your opposite leg the same height so there is no height discrepancy. So no limping, no hip pain because of having one leg shorter than the other because of the boot.

Easy to use for post-op walking
Wanted to do all I could to avoid issues with hips and kness after foot surgery. I had 6 weeks in a post-op walking boot. These worked great, made gait while walking in post-op boot much better. Out of boot for 2 weeks now and no hip pain. Super easy to use and do height adjustments.

Perfect if you are in a medical boot
A true blessing! I broke my ankle this year and had to have surgery. I’m now at the phase in my recovery that I can step with my crutches. But the boot is so high. This adds the perfect amount of height where my steps are level with each other. Which takes all stress off my knees and hips. To whom ever invented this- Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This ol broken lady is truly grateful xx

Saved My Aching Back
Started experiencing lower back pain while using a walking boot around the house, so purchased the EVENup adjustable height shoe lift in large (I wear a U.S. men's 12 shoe) to even out my walking gait. The product did just that and my back pain subsided. The upper cage is made of a flexible rubber that expands around the shoe to hold it in place; however, experienced a little slipping in the heel area, but not enough to cause stability concerns. There is a thin velcro strap to secure the upper toe area. The sole is grippy and never slipped on ceramic tile or vinyl flooring surfaces. The shoe lift comes set at the highest height, which is what I retained, but the platform soles are removable if a lower height is desired. Overall, pleased with the product, but perhaps a wider strap would be better. No durability issues, but only used the product everyday for ~four weeks. Also, never had an issue with the rubber cage leaving marks/creases on my shoes, but I didn't wear the same pair of shoes every day. IMPORTANT - closely adhere to the vendor's instructions for selecting a size. All of my shoes measured longer than 12", so this is why I bought large over medium. Also, the shape of the shoe is very important. My slip-in Sketchers did not fit well, but shoes with a lower/streamlined sole profile, more closely resembling the vendor's picture did.

If you’re using a medical boot, get this.
I wish doctors would have these available for purchase or at least tell you about them when they put you in a boot. My back and hips were killing me already after one day with the boot. Then my sister mentioned her grandson had used something like this when he had to have a boot. So I found them here and am SO glad I did. I was a little concerned because I wear a very wide size in shoes, but ordered up a little according to their advice for this and they fit my walking shoes no problem and stay on well. You’d have to be pretty lucky to get it exactly even with the boot with the adjustable pads, but you should be able to get it close — which is great. You can walk almost normally once your feet are even. I tried it on a casual nice shoe, but it didn’t fit well on that. The shoe needs to have a more substance to keep its shape. That’s good, though, because that’s why it stays on securely. Also cheaper and easier than trying to find shoes to match the height of the boot, which is what I thought I was going to have to do. Great product.

it worked for a while
My podiatrist advised me to get this balancer after braking my ankle and was put into a boot for 5 weeks. It came in after ordering it the very next day. I was surprised that it had 2 choices of thickness to level up to my boot thickness. It was a bit awkward at first and was a little hard getting it on my shoe. The straps stretched nice and snug and I did finally get it on and never took it off until three weeks later when I needed to change shoes. I got it off with a little difficulty and didn't use it for a few days. When my new shoes came in by mail I went to put the balancer back on and it had fallen apart and is now useless. I definitely thought it would have lasted longer. I'm just happy it didn't cost more or I may be more upset. I am glad It served it's purpose for those first three weeks. I do not regret buying it, but do regret that it only lasted for three weeks. Now would I recommend it ? Yes and no, unless you want to take the chance and hope that it last longer. It's not a pretty sight, but neither is your boot and both are necessary. . So, if you choose to buy this, your feet would now have style. Balance is more important than looks. The choice is yours.

This is a GREAT product!
I love this product. I have one leg that is naturally 1/2" shorter than the other and for my street shoes, I pay a lot of money to have a permanent lift added to one shoe so that I don't limp. For my 'house shoes', I use this. I can walk around the house in my hard-soled slippers without limping and throwing my back and hips out of whack when I use this. It's easy to attach and lasts a very long time. The EVENup that I purchased before this one lasted probably 10 yrs before one of the little rubber pieces near the toe broke. So, this may seem expensive, but it's a very well-made, long-lasting item that it easy to use and durable! Worth every penny, for sure!

Works great to balance out a walking boot
The lifting soles are secured to the base with Velcro in addition to the groves for the elastic bands on the side, which helps make the whole thing feel more stable. It works best with a shoe that fits firmly on your foot. I tried it with a slip-on shoe first and at one point the lift came off the back of my shoe. When I wore it with a sneaker, the lift stayed on all day.
