I like everything about them but the adjustment hardware. It rusts when you sweat and stains your clothes. For a product purportedly heavy duty for actual workwear (as opposed to fashion workwear), the cheap hardware was disappointing because the rust was predictable. Real tradesmen sweat on the job. Otherwise, it does a good job of holding my pants up, especially since I retrofit all my pants with stainless steel grommets through the waistbands, a good suggestion made b another reviewer here. I liked them well enough to buy two other pair in different colors.

The material is stiff, like it's been starched, not a big deal but a little strange. he good news is the hooks are awesome !!! Hold the tabs, squeeze & it opens like a jaw, makes it super easy to connect to belt loops

This is my first pair of suspenders, I usually wear a belt but even when I have it tightened to the last hole my pants still try to slip off. Mostly at the most inopportune times, like when I am wheeling trash bins to the street or have an armload of groceries. But now with these suspenders I know what it feels like to have a normal human body! The kind of body that allows you to walk and not have your pants slip down around your knees! I went through my day today without hiking up my pants or doing the bull-legged walk so I don't expose my boxers to the world AND I FEEL AMAZING! IT'S A NEW DAY! A NEW WORLD! EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE OK! One year update: I've worn these every day (one, literally the only one i bought ) for one year. They are still amazing! The elastic is a little stretched out but after an entire year of abuse the fact that they hold up my pants at all is a miracle! I'm updating the review because I'm buying another set!

Great item

I was looking for braces that were more secure that the usual clip-on style. These clip through the belt loops, not onto the waistband. They hold very well, but are difficult to put on, as the springs are very strong. One downside is that I had to let these air out in the garage for a few days before I could wear them, as the rubber smell is strong and objectionable. They also wear out the belt loops more quickly, as belt loops are usually not designed for metal-to-fabric contact.
