Well made and sturdy
Great concept as being separate foot rests they can fit by the toilet and not be a toe hazard as you walk in like the large one piece unit is

Super compact for my small bathroom and desire for discretion
I searched long and hard for what I wanted; something good for my NYC single bathroom (no extras, 1/2 or otherwise) and my intense dislike of potty squats in general. Most of them are ugly, too large and hard to store anywhere but under the front of your toilet. We just spent a butt-load of money and much of our personal efforts making our bathroom into an art deco dream. The last thing I want is some huge piece of plastic as the first thing you see when entering. Like I said, it's a small NYC bathroom. I also, if possible, wanted something made without plastic. These are bamboo and steel. One less thing floating around for another 300k years. These fit that bill and in total, work like a charm. With four different height choices it is pretty fantastic to have the perfect height for my 5'2" frame and my husband's 6'3" frame. Since they move independently, you can customize exactly where you want your feet to be. You can move one and not the other for any reason you made need. Maybe you are a person with one leg longer than the other? I think these features would be great for anyone who has different needs of an ordinary person. They fold flat very nicely in my vanity, see pictures. (If you missed them, they are right of the air freshener.) They could easily sit on the back of your toilet and no one would be the wiser. Nothing about them screams "time to poop" except their function which for me is perfect. They are very substantial and well made, easy to open and close. One of mine is a little tight but I imagine it will loosen up in time. Better too tight than too loose, the screws that is. (You see I made a potty joke for you.) There are a few drawbacks depending on your needs. This is not a step ladder and cannot be used by children. The listing shows its only other use, as a guitar foot stand. It is for the purpose of older children and adults to go poo, nothing else. Since they work independently, they can take a minute to get used to. You should never put your feet onto them before being fully seated. If any sliding is a problem, get grip strips for the bottom. Personally I like that I can move my feet and would not want a no slip bottom. My only complaint is how some people mentioned how great they are/would be for travel. My husband and I travel often and are not big packers. I could go to Italy for 3 weeks with a carry-on. No one in Rome saw you wear that dress in Florence. If your friends or family care to make comments, don't show them your travel photos. For me, they are compact enough BUT they are way too heavy for travel unless it's a road trip. I would never drag these around Thailand. C'est la vie. You can't have it all.

A travel staple for me!
These are great! I have an Aldi brand squatty potty for the house and wanted something collapsible for travel. They takes up more room than I’d like in a carry-on, but I don’t travel without them! It’s another way for me to bring the comforts of my home with me when traveling. I love that they’re adjustable so that other people can also be comfortable if they’re using them, and they’re easy to slide out of the way if others don’t use them.

Not Worth The Money
Doesn’t deserve 1 star. It’s not sturdy and your feet slides off.

Quarry Footstools
This was a brilliant idea. I give it a 10?out of 10 This is actually what people need. Not the clunky flat step at th front of the bowl.
