CraftLab Embroidery Kit for Beginners

Been a long time since I tried to embroider so this kit was a nice introduction to the craft. Excellent value for the price. Fun,very versatile and easy to use

We love the adorable designs and it’s got all the materials and tools you need for a first embroidery kit. Only thing is that the design would not transfer even after ironing… we ended up using a pencil to trace design.

It arrived on time. My niece really liked it.

Bought two of these as Christmas gifts! One for my niece (10 years old) and my goddaughter (9 years old). Both loved them!

Good beginner kit for my daughter who is 8. She is getting the hang of it. Here are some things I wish I had known before ordering: 1) the prints are iron on so the first step before you can do anything is to iron them on the fabric. If I had known that I wouldn’t have ordered it because there’s some nuance with it that I didn’t really want to have to do. 2) it doesn’t come with scissors or a needle threader. My daughter has a hard time threading the needle without one so luckily I have one with a kit I got for myself. 3) the fabric isn’t as rough as some of the linen the fabric for embroidery. This makes it hard because I find that the fabric is slipping in the hoop and I’m constantly having to readjust and tighten it for her. Other than that if you’re looking for a good craft to do along side your child for some bonding time… this is a good option.

I bought this for several reasons. My 8 year old son has pincer grasp issues so this would help him with focus, strengthening his hand muscles and also is a fun and creative activity. For my 6 year old daughter, this was mostly something creative for her to do so she’s not glued to the TV. I loved that this held her attention and she was so proud of herself when she finished. After several instructions on how to stitch, this was smooth sailing for the kids. Overall, this is a wonderful activity that everyone can enjoy!

I ordered 2 of these for my grandchildren for Valentine’s Day. They had expressed interest in learning to embroider. I first just ordered some transfers but decided they were too complicated for them. They are ages 7 and 9. Then I saw this craft kit and it looked perfect! They were so excited and set to work immediately on their projects. The designs are cute and the instructions for the different stitches are easy to follow. I am so pleased with my purchase!
