Just an engineer posting for those wondering: can the flow restrictors be removed from this hansgrohe Raindance shower system? ANSWER: YES ! I found instructions on you tube. It is a fairly easy modification to make And noting, this is a great shower system but it is even more great after you remove the flow restrictors

This is a full set of components for installing a hansgrohe Raindance Complete Shower System. The system includes the rough-in box for the wall, the wall bar for mounting the handshower to, the 15-inch showerarm for mounting the top showerhead to, the wall junction for attaching the handshower hose to, the temperature and diverter valves unit with trim, the handshower and the massive and expensive 12-inch rainshower head that attaches to the 15-inch arm at the top of the shower. hansgrohe is a German designer and manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen plumbing fixtures. Until recently hansgrohe did all its manufacturing in Germany. In 2018 hansgrohe was purchased by the American building products company, Masco, joining Delta, Brizo and a number of other brands owned by Masco. hansgrohe has maintained its quality since being bought by Masco, though some of its products are manufactured outside Germany at this point. I have heard that mid and upper level hansgrohe products are still German made, and this set would qualify as upper tier hansgrohe. hansgrohe has a good reputation for customer service--much like Delta and Moen--and its products are warrantied for lifetime of the purchaser. This is a beautful set, the central feature of which is a 12-inch rainshower showerhead which puts out a vast and exceptionally fine spray of tiny droplets. You need the right shower enclosure to place this set in. It's not made for fiberglass enclosures. Though you might be able to fit it into a fiberglass surround, it would be vast overkill. This needs a custom stone or ceramic enclosure to match its sophisitication. That said, one part of this set isn't up to the rest to my mind, and that's the hose supplying the handheld showerhead which is made of a flexible and highly chromed plastic. I would prefer a metal exterior with rubber hose interior, but time will tell whether the plastic is actually inferior to metal. This is probably not a self-install set. Best to get a plumber unless you are very comfortable handling sweating copper or installing Pex. It is not a retrofit set. you need to install this at the outset of installing a whole new shower. Finally, a word about value. The cost of this set has fluctuated on Amazon. Right now it's at $1551.93, earlier it was at about $1200. To the best of my ability to reconcile part numbers, you can buy the individual pieces of this set for a combined total of $1300 right now on Amazon. I'm not sure it's worth purchasing as a set at the current price. But Home Depot is considerably more expensive. Buying the parts separately on Home depot--again, to the best of my ability to match pieces across HD and Amazon--would cost about $1575 right now.

Being home has given us ample time to give our home some upgrade love and this one is probably our favorite. This shower system looks and feels like something that would be in a 5 star hotel and we love that we have it in our master bathroom now. Hubby was able to install it pretty easily and it looks great with wonderful pressure and most importantly, a sprayer for overall functionality, which is important for people with accessibility priorities to note. Very worth it and we love it!

If it weren't such a waste of water, I would spend at least 30 minutes in the shower each day. This shower system will make you wish you could do the same. It's the ultimate in Hansgrohe bath fixtures. It has three showerhead settings that go from a soft rain to a firm massage. There's also the very necessary auto temperature control. It doesn't get much better than this. I HIGHLY recommend this product. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this review. Wow! This hansgrohe Raindance S Complete Shower System Shower Set is very nice and incredibly elegant. This shower set comes with a complete system in a box and the attention to quality really shows here. I really liked that the iBox Universal Plus Rough with Service Stops was included in the system which makes the installation of the system so much easier. The installation really wasn't that difficult and hansgrohe instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Taking a shower everyday is such a pleasant experience now with this shower system. The shower head has three different modes to choose from, my favorite setting is the Powder rain. This is a very high quality shower system and I would highly recommend this system to anyone.

This is a great all-in-one system that offers its user pretty much everything needed in the Raindance line. I received mine in the signature Grohe Starlight chrome, which is just stunning, especially when paired with the others in the same line. I am a big fan of the attractiveness of this set, and I think that this is one of the better options out there; it includes a few pieces that seem to be somewhat less easy to find on their own. As always, I am impressed with the workmanship.

Silky smooth controls as we have have come to love from hansgrohe Raindance. I love how sleek it is. I love that you can control the flow and the temperature with easy. This is a wonderful looking and feeling shower experience! This is excellent quality top grade product
