I have a monitor that does not have its own sound bar and therefore wanted to hear video music from my pc through quality speakers, and also to have the sound coming from the direction of the monitor. I have played a piece of music that has different levels of scale and volume that would test the quality and the result is perfect! The style of the speakers is neat and unimposing and fit nicely in front and to each side of my monitor thus not impeding on my view of the screen. I was in search of some speakers as I switched monitors for my PC and my new one did not have integrated speakers. I wasn't looking for anything "amazing" but wanted some general-purpose PC speakers so I can watch videos or play some background music while I work without having to bother about putting headphones on every time. The item came in a nice package, the quality of the materials is quite good, a nice hefty feel, not platic-y and cheap, and was easy to set up. The audio quality is the "value for money" bit for these speakers as the audio quality is a bit on the "tin-y" side. The treble and mids are clear and good but greatly lack bass. Overall great speakers for the price.

These speakers are perfect for the purpose intended, used cable ties to fix them to my elderly bedbound mum's headboard for her TV. Using the headphone output, so as not to disturb next door neighbour. Great sound quality, amazing for the price being active too.

I was looking for a set of speakers that I could get without having to spend a ridiculous amount, that didn't need to be plugged into an external power source and that had a headphone jack. These speakers ticked all the boxes and were listed as Amazon Choice so I quickly got them after reading some great reviews. Now, as far as speakers go they are...OK. Visually they are nothing special - just matt black with the brand name on one of them and the headphone jack/volume control on the other. They are a good size for a desk setup and have a good length cable for connecting. The volume isn't bad, but it isn't great either and I find that I have to put the volume up very high to get a good quality of sound from them. As for the headphone jack - one of the main reasons for my purchase. Completely useless. As soon as I plugged a pair in, I noticed there was a crackling/interference noise. So I tried various other pairs of headphones and it was still there. This is before even trying to play any audio. For that they are completely useless. Which is a shame. So if you just want a pair of decent, cheap speakers but don't plan to use the headphone jack, these are fine for that. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere.

I thought it only right that I resubmit my review of these speakers, as my original thoughts were based on a mistake made by myself. I wanted to use these speakers for gaming, when playing my truck simulator, and initially plugged the aux cable into the headphone jack on my PC tower, assuming the TV I use as a monitor didn’t have the required socket. This meant the speakers were essentially doing the job of headphones, and as a result the sound was tinny, unbalanced and woefully underpowered. However, when I discovered my TV did, in fact, have the necessary jack, I tried the speakers again and my findings were the complete opposite of my original opinion. Plugged into the TV, these speakers are rich, while being crisp and clear. Volume range is great, and more than loud enough, even at approximately 30% its capacity. The stereo effect is amazing, with sounds seemingly emanating from all around, and I’m now picking up sounds in my game that I’ve never even noticed before. All I’ll say is that you don’t make the same mistake as I and plug them into your PC tower. Make sure your TV/monitor has the correct jack, and plug them into that instead.

Got these for a home office set up, as I just needed something better than the laptop speakers. These are nicely made, a bit bigger than expected, but no real issues. The feet have rubber applied to them, so shouldn't slip, or vibrate as much at higher volumes etc. I powered it from a USB plug, which worked without issue, even at full volume. Be aware, I read others had problems with static sound from the speakers, this is nearly always to do with the USB socket/plug used or interference on the audio cable, so always try a different USB socket/plug if you have this problem. In use I tested with my phone, and compared to my proper amp and speaker set up these do obviously lack some bass and detail, but not unexpected for the price. These only have 1 speaker cone per speaker, no bass port etc, so no great surprise they lack some oomph, but I did find pushing them back closer to the wall helped. I'm not a big fan of the green power on light, but it is not that distracting behind the mesh, and is only on when the speaker dial power is on. The dial itself is smooth, not stepped, which I prefer, stepped seems to always be to loud or quiet, when you want to adjust it. Overall I am happy with these, for sitting at my desk doing some work and listening to some background music these are fine, possibly not ideal for action movies etc, but would also work for a TV setup to give a bit more than the TV speakers can.

Bin nach problemlosen Bestellvorgang durch die schnelle Lieferung überrrascht worden. Direkt ausgepackt und angeschlossen. Ich finde die Lautsprecher sind gut und zugleich praktisch ausgewogen ausgestattet. Sie bringen so wie bei allen Majority Produkten einen guten Sound und funktionelle Extras. Weiter zu den Funktionen.Durch das PlugNPlay müssen keine Treiber oder ähnliches heruntergeladen undinstalliert werden. Die Lautsprecher werden über den USB Port mit Strom versorgt. Es muss also kein weiteres Netzteil oder lästiges Kabel zur Stromversorgung mit genommen oder angeschlossen werden. Die zweite Anschlussmöglichkeit ist der 3,5mm Klinkenanschluss (durch Kopfhörerbuchse sind die Boxen auch am Smartphone anschließbar) Die Kabel sind ca 100cm lang. Durch das ästhetische Design passen sie so ziemlich auf jeden Schreibtisch oder Arbeitsbereich. Die Maße laut Hersteller betragen 16.50 cm x 9.00 cm Die sehr gut anzusehende mattschwarze gestaltung fügt sich optisch in so ziemlich jede Umgebung ein. Ich konnte es selbst leider nur spartanisch testen, aber die Boxen scheinen gut gegen störungne abgeschirmt sein! Die vordere 3,5mm Klinkenbuchse eignet sich um ein Smartphone oder ähnliches anzuschliessen und somit auf die Lautsprecher zu spielen. Die Lautstärke lässt sich super über den vorderen positiv sehr griffigen Drehknopf einfach und intuitiv einstellen! Häufig werden die Artikel von Majority über Amazon mit einem Gutschein angeboten der den Kaufpreis ein wenig minimiert. Das macht die Artikel von Majority zu einem sehr guten Verkaufsgegenstand. Sie geben 3 Jahre Garantie auf diesen Artikel. Ich habe mittlerweile 4 Artikel von Majority gekauft. Sie werden teilweise täglich genutzt. Ich habe das Gerät Willingham sogar 2 mal angeschaft. Eins für zu Hause und das zweite für den Auenthaltsraum auf der Arbeit. Dieses läuft seit mehr als zwölf Monaten 5 Tage die Woche ab sechs morgens bis 15 Uhr Nachmittags. KEINEN AUSFALL!!! Weiter nutze Ich das Modell SNOWDON II als TV Bar an meinem SmartTV. Gruß Dirk

For 12€, these feel like a steal. They sound decent, they're compact and they're even somewhat stylish.

I've purchased a few audio products from Majority in the past, and have always been very impressed with the premium experience and the strong performance-price ratio. The DX10's are no exception, and with the market for inexpensive desktop speakers saturated by cheaply made no-name products, these are an outstanding option at a very reasonable price. PACKAGING: The speakers come in clean, well-designed packaging. I'm personally a bit of a sucker for nice-looking boxes, but it's always good to have your first experience with a new purchase start off on the right foot (and good packaging makes for a nicer gift option). DESIGN/BUILD QUALITY: The speakers themselves are an all-plastic construction, but they feel quite sturdy--no creaking or cracking. The design is fairly neutral black, but with a little bit of character in the subtly angled speaker grille, and a few other curved "swooping" accents. They look and feel nice for my desk at home, but certainly would not look out of place in a professional setting either. The Majority branding is simple and not too intrusive, appearing in small font only on the left speaker. The volume knob turns smoothly, has a satisfying click, and is anchored to the internal mechanism (so the cap won't slide off, like on some cheaper speakers). The legs of each speaker have a pair of thin foam strips to add some friction and prevent sound from reverberating through the desk, so you don't feel your keyboard buzz while audio is playing. FEATURES: As entry-level desktop speakers, the feature set is pretty simple. The two satellites are tethered, and the rear of the right speaker has the 3.5mm cord and USB connection. As far as I can tell, the USB is used exclusively for power, so the 3.5mm connection is the only option for audio input. However, there is a front-facing headphone jack as a passthrough, so even if your device only has a single 3.5mm connector, you'll still be able to plug in a pair of headphones for quiet listening. The cords are all sufficient length to allow you to maneuver the speakers on a desk freely. AUDIO PERFORMANCE: Really stellar audio quality. Reproduction of the full spectrum of mids and highs is remarkably good for a basic pair of stereo desktop speakers, with very crisp, clear sound. There are no equalizer settings or audio presets on the speakers themselves, so any tinkering needs to be handled digitally; however, the default soundscape is very pleasing to the ear, and does a nice job with a variety of content, including video calls, dialogue-heavy TV shows and news broadcasts, and music (see my video, in which the vocal and instrumental portions of the track are very cleanly delineated.) The slight upward angling of the speakers helps to produce a more satisfying and immersive stereo experience. As to be expected for compact desktop speakers, the drivers are a little too small to create potent bass, but there is enough for the low-frequency components of percussion instruments and human voices to sound full and true. As for output, 10 watts of power is plenty considering the distance at which one typically sits from desktop speakers. That said, if you have a larger space and really want to crank the volume, these are definitely capable of audibly filling a small- to medium-sized room. OTHER: If you register the product online, the warranty extends to three years. Given their build quality, I would be very surprised if I encounter any issues in that time frame, but a free extended warranty is always nice to have in your back pocket, and adds to the overall premium-feeling experience. FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall, I strongly recommend the DX10's. They provide everything you could possibly ask of compact 2.0 desktop speakers, and simply feel like a higher-end alternative to other basic speakers, while matching or beating them in price. 5 stars for a definite winner!

These speakers are of poor value for the price and shipped in a plastic bag, I was surprised that the speaker wasn't damaged cause the box looks like it was used as a soccer ball. The whole system is extremely easy to set up with just two leads; USB provides power and audio comes from the 3.5mm jack. The sound quality is poor and tinny (like it's 5W and not 10W) and makes listening to music not enjoyable. But fine for conference calls and simple audio applications.
